The staff was very kind, the breakfast was really good, and the hotel was lovely. There were blackouts happening throughout the city but luckily the hotel had a backup generator.

We stayed there one night as we were headed to the airport in the morning. The staff were amazingly kind and helpful. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. 10 out of 10 would stay there again. And the breakfast was fabulous!

Very helpful staff n better than average breakfast!

We love this place. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room (two double beds) were small, but cozy, yet bright and cheery. We had a small dog and a cat with us and stayed four nights. The dog was a hit with all the staff and they even came upstairs to visit the cat! It's one of a few places in Cuenca we've stayed where you can actually flush paper down the toilet, which was a nice change. The neighborhood was safe and walkable - plenty of restaurants, malls, etc. within 3-4 blocks, a nice little park same distance, but opposite direction. Fabulous street art (not graffitti), neighborhood security people helping at the busy streets, etc. Breakfast seems minimal, but every morning they offered to make us eggs if what they served (eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage, varied each day), toast, rolls, wonderful fruit, cereal, coffee, tea selection, fabulous fruit preserves, etc. was fine for us. We were there right after the holidays and the hotel was slow, so we always got a comfy table by the windows and could linger, watch the street go by. One of the young desk staff even gave me pointers on how to "climb proof" our backyard for cat when we moved into our house! Mornings my husband slept in, they gave us a tray. Loved the mineral water they had in room, so every day they gave us several bottles when we came back from walking dog. Small fridge, no microwave, but fine for our days there. This is a lovely, homey little boutique - go for it!

Front hotel staff was polite and friendly. Very helpful and accomodating with our needs. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The cleanliness was impressive. Breakfast was delicious. Overall a wonderful experience would come back to this hotel in a heart bit.
