I would not recommend anyone going to that hotel. What a terrible mistake! First of an all, the service was horrendous. We had to wait for 3 hours(!) for the towels, unable to go the beach. Second, the beach itself is very shallow. You walk 2 km in the water and the ocean is up to your knees. You can't swim. So, very disappointing. The only good thing about this hotel was a decent buffet. Nothing else. So, please choose wisely your vacation.

The food was honestly terrible. It seemed to be a place for older people. They don’t provide room service unless it is to clean.

Is not a good place to stay

I recently stayed at an all-inclusive hotel in Santo Domingo, and my experience was disappointing due to what seemed like a discriminatory room assignment process. Upon arrival, I spoke Spanish with the front desk staff, and I believe this led them to assume I was a local tourist. As a result, I was assigned a room in a building that was in poor condition—unclean, with a moldy bathroom, no hot water, and overall worse than a budget motel. The next day, while walking to breakfast, I noticed that another building on the property was significantly cleaner, more modern, and in far better living condition. The main difference? This section was occupied primarily by foreign, English-speaking tourists from places like the U.S., Italy, and Russia, whereas the building I was placed in seemed to be reserved for Spanish-speaking or Latino guests. To make matters worse, the room I received did not match the one shown in my Expedia booking, and for the $150 per night I paid, I could have stayed in a much higher-quality hotel, such as the Marriott in the Dominican Republic. This experience raises serious concerns about how this hotel treats guests based on language or nationality, and I would not recommend it to others.

this is the 5th time I'm staying in this resort, I am very happy about the property, great view from my balcony, the staff is great, and the food is very good, especially the dessert, specifically the cakes.

They charge for the first meal if you arrive earlier ,roaches in the room. Need mor variety in meals ,staff very deficient

The porter was trying to pass on bringing our luggage to the room. He tried to pass on the job to two other workers, until his boss told him he had to do it. He finally did it. It left a bad impression. The lobby smells badly of cigarette smoke and alcohol. The pina colada tasted like pear juice. Dinner was pretty decent. The pool area and beach seems nice. The room needed a little more cleaning. The bathroom mirror was a little soiled. I think considering the price, the drinks could have been better.

Our own fault - We did not realize the beach in front of the resort was a public beach and we arrived on Sunday. The beach was full and the people left their garbage everywhere even in the water including a dirty diaper. On Monday the locals were gone and the beach was cleaned up. I love the people and love watching the little ones I just don't understand why people throw their garbage on the ground. I was brought up - if you pack it in, pqck it out! the resort itself was clean. the food good and the staff excellent.

This is a Very authentic Resort. The food and atmosphere truly bring out DR in the countryside. I had to adjust to the Dogs all over the Beach. I never saw them hurt, harm or really bother anyone, I just don3t like them and don't want them near me especially if I'm eating on the Beach. The Mexican Restaurant made my Birthday night memorable! I put on a Huge Sombrero danced to music -while they brought out cake! The Front desk was patient, staff was friendly for the most part. I just didn't really like the Fee/Deposit for a Room Safe, pOol towel or Iron for clothes. The weekend was wild and the local kids kept the pool area full of plastic cups that were not cleaned up for a while. The beach(the whole beach not just the resort area) was really dirty by the end of the night but I observed a cleaning crew out before and during the sun rise. I wasn't a fan of ALL the Pork options at every meal but the Veggies, Fruits and everything is so fresh and delicious.
