This hotel was beyond beautiful and elegant-- the rooms, the front desk staff, the amenities were so lovely. The ambiance was stunning and it had that ultra high end boutique feel...The moment I walked in to my room it smelled so clean and fresh, it was just beyond beautiful (and FLAWLESSLY clean). The staff was so welcoming and helpful! I highly recommend staying here. The location is super central to everything you need. My only little note would be to add robes and slippers :)

When I made the booking 6 months ago I specifically requested one king bed instead of two separate beds and booked a superior room so paid a bit more to ensure we would have a better room. When arriving they gave me a room with two separate beds, I then went back to reception to ask for a different room, but they said no that they couldn’t do anything for us but wait the next day to see if any room would be free.. the hotel is also next to a night club which is really loud at night and we could hear music and drunk people shouting in the street until late hours. We will not be coming back.

We had a wonderful experience in Madrid. The Room Mate Collection Alba Hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. We were so happy to come back there after a hot day exploring the city. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. We sank into the comfortable beds and slept deeply. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel in an outstanding location (barrio de las letras). Prime location near the best tapas and restaurants in Madrid.

We really enjoy staying here and will always return. Rooms are well appointed and extremely clean. Water from the shower has good pressure. I don’t particularly love the waterproof mattress cover - it makes us sweat a lot at night. But pillows were wonderful. It would be great to have four bath towels and add face cloths/towels for the tourists that use them. Otherwise it’s perfect. We love staying in the Arts and Letters barrio and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location close to everything. We walked everywhere. The bed was wonderful. Staff went out of their way to assist and were friendly. I loved the little balcony but some road noise which I expected.

Excellent stay. This was our last leg of vacation so we wanted to go out with a really nice hotel and this didn't disappoint. Great location. The rooms had a steamer to help ensure outfits were ready, coffee and tea stations, well stocked mini fridge, and food on site. The staff was great from the moment we arrived until we said our goodbyes. All around great experience.

Menu was good, could have had more vegan options/ingredients list. Great location in old town, easy walk everywhere and not too noises at night despite shops being open very late
