I am the sort of a person who don’t like to complain, but as soon as we got to the residence the owner start complaining about the price we paid as though we set the price and then I booked a room with that Gardenview he give me a room with a garbage view, and then he said there’s no breakfast included I showed him that there was breakfast included he said OK I’ll give you breakfast I said don’t don’t do me no favours, breakfast is included so he kept complaining about the price I paid as though I set the price and I booked the place seven months prior and the headline says breakfast included. I got my breakfast, but the bed was low metal frame, with a thin mattress and wobbly so is the stair handrail, we had to go up the stairs even though he had a room downstairs with the Garden-view and we are two seniors with a walking disability, shame on you.

The hosts were extremely hospitable and make you feel welcome. They went out of the way to give us breakfast early for the flight. The property is in decent condition and suitable for budget travelers.

Les Bambous was a very pleasant and friendly stay as I overnighted in Mauritius. Nothing was too much trouble for the host. I will certainly return.

This property was a good value for the price. The owner and his wife were there to assist as needed.

The owner and his wife are really helpful and welcoming, he runs a great taxi service to the airport personally....breakfast on the rooftop is casual and welcoming.....

excellent for the Moines paid. My hostess provided a tasty local-style breakfast I ate with mountain views. i did not find local restaurants but shops are nearby, and the Host will provide coffee tea, etc on request. I took advantage of the Host's guide service and saw lots of the local area, as a taxi driver in the past he is a fountain of knowledge. Overall enjoyable, had dinner there which gave me the opportunity for conversation with other guests, a nice comfotable establishment.

The hosts were so nice, and we really had fun. The only down side is that the location of the property is in a rural area not so much to do and eat around

The owner and son both very helpful as regards local weather and our little house was lovely but they do need to attend to the dampness when they have storms etc

Residence Les Bambous is on a little side street in Mahebourg, about a 5 minute ride from the new mall at Vallon Bo (close to the airport, but on the opposite side of the island from the capital and most of the resorts in the north). It is family owned, with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. It's not luxurious but it is very affordable, and comfortable, with a nice bed, hot water in the shower, and a ceiling fan to keep the room cool.

Not good the guys treated us like slaves forced to sleep on floor. Instead should have treated like hotel since paid above hotel rates even hotel.com knows.

We had safe parking. Beaut breakfast. Value for money.

It is a small family business where you feel welcomed from the beginning. The breakfast is simple but very tasty, fruit juice freshly squeezed, and the bedroom comfortable and close to the history museum or the bus station.

We stay one night we have to take flight next day. We were picked up from airport by the owner very nice person Property was close to air port and decent what we pay

The accommodation was clean and reasonable comfortable, but the WiFi network was totally ineffective. The breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. I suggest the bed sheets be replaced with ones that fit the bed properly.

Hébergement simple, efficace et propre. Le petit déjeuner est a l'image de la résidence simple et efficace : pain, beurre, confiture, une part de gateau artisanal, une crepe fraiche et un oeuf frit a la minute tous les matins et aussi un fruit. Nous avons séjourner une semaine dans cette résidence et nous avons vraiment apprécié. Un grand merci a Ritesh et sa famille pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse ! 😍 rapport qualité prix excellent
