Clean room, extremely kind and helpful staff

Good location, but the property is not worth to what we pay for. Receptionist (lady) is very rude. I'd suggest to train her on how to treat the customers. Her behaviour is like guests come there for free.

The hotel is located in a safe and quiet area and about 15 minute-walking to the city center. The hotel is clean and its amenities are in good condition. The hotel staff is very helpful. The breakfast provided by this hotel is good and affordable. Overall this is a very good budget hotel.

Not flash or fancy, but a comfortable stay with views overlooking the racetrack and helpful and amenable staff.

Staff and service were excellent. Ever ready to help . Nothing was difficult when assistance was required. Staff went out of their ways to help, no matter what the issue was.The accommodation was basic but good value for what we paid.

Not really a great place to stay unless you’re on a tight budget and don’t really care a great deal about comfort

This hotel provided exactly as advertised. Location let us walk to the waterfront and back which was about 20 minutes each way. The staff were super helpful and offered arrangements for a tour of the island as well as exchanging currency for us. The breakfast was fairly basic but delicious and efficient. The stay was okay. The price was affordable and comfortable. The people at the desk were pleasant and helpful. The area was clean, peaceful and calm. Bus stop to city center was was a 10-15 min walk, so is the bank.

The staff were helpfull at giving directions on how to get around. The plumbing leaked, cracked bathroom basin. The shower telephone was unvontrolable...bursts of hot water then loss of pressure. Water heater for making hot drink in unit was inplugable so had to get adapter from reception. No cup in room- get it from reception. Hallway lights did not turn on late at night very unsafe. Lobby also in full darkness. Would only allow one towel per day and no sheet change during a 3 day stay. Advertised a free breakfast but there is a charge and you must be registered the day before.

Great location located across from the famous Champ de Mars racetrack, (horses). Nice open space across from hotel, the racetrack central area has been turned into a recreation spot in an otherwise built up central city. Breakfast available on site in addition to other drinks during the day. (We had nice cold beers).

It’s a very convenient location. The staff is very friendly and helpful too.

In Port Louis, this was a good value for the money. Clean and comfortable. But not at all fancy.

The hotel is very old and dated. It really needs a refit not very well located unless you’re going to the racecourse it’s at least 20 minute walk to town which we were advised wasn’t very safe Breakfast was just a half cooked omelette and a few pieces of fruit and a bit of baguette The staff was helpful and friendly

It's an excellent place to stay, not fancy but clean, and the price is right.
