If you come to Ayutthaya by shuttle van, it's not that far from where they stop, or just tell the driver that you're going to Siri. It's a family-owned hotel, clean, and homey. It almost feels like you're staying at a friend's but pay for the room. I saw a lot of guests who are families with kids, maybe because they have an option for a larger room that accommodates more than 2 persons. Hot water, instant coffee, and some snacks are available for free, often for breakfast time. Siri provides bicycles you can rent to go around, and you can ask the owner, a nice lady who's always running errands but very accommodating, if you need other services. She's fair in giving you options based on your budget and agenda. Most shops in Ayutthaya close early, but the night market, which is not far from the hotel, opens by 4 pm, and they have all kinds of food and fruit, though not every food stall provides you with chairs, so just eat while scrolling around. If you're Indonesian, you'll love it here, it feels like home.
