Amazing vacation

Our vacation was disappointing from check-in. Staff immediately tried to upsell us to other rooms, then sent us to a desk to “redeem” resort credits. This turned out to be a sales desk trying to book us for a membership presentation — not called a timeshare, but very similar. The advertised credits are also not as straightforward as they seem; only certain amounts can be used at the spa or toward select shop items. Our room was okay, but there was a leak from the floor whenever we used the sink, so maintenance had to come in. The minibar and 24-hour room service were great and included. Housekeeping was excellent, and nightly turndown was a nice touch. Onsite cafe was lovely. Outside the room, service was less responsive. Room service plates left outside other rooms attracted many bugs and were not cleaned up for over half a day. The golf course spa was lovely, and my 50-minute massage was excellent, though still $75 USD after credits. The buffet had good variety, but quality was hit or miss, there was no hand sanitizer at the entrance, and drink service was very slow. Pools were nice and poolside staff were friendly, but service was slow and drinks were watered down. We were there for a family wedding and recommend getting everything in writing and checking details carefully. Issue resolution, especially with the PR/wedding department, was frustrating. Overall, the trip could have been much better with less upselling and more focus on guest experience.

We have stayed at 3 other palace properties and this one is making us think twice about ever returning to a palace property. We had 2 rooms and so many little things go wrong that cumulatively we really disliked this place…no working ac in our first two rooms (apparently a problem property wide if you google it—had to switch rooms), tvs that didn’t work correctly in 2 of 4 rooms, broken remotes, tub that took 30min to fill and then forever to drain, aging property that needs renovation, one person got food poisoning, and they no longer cater to gf people. Anyways, we have loved palace resorts in the past, but would never recommend Nizuc or Sunrise. (Also, not their fault, but there is no beach due to the seaweed. The water is coffee brown and smells horrible.)

Everything was great, traveled with 3 kids, we had a great time. Will definitely come back.

The resort was a quiet relaxing place. Not so crowded like sunrise or the grand. The food is pretty good. Love the coffee shop with crepes, pastries, gelato...the pools are huge. The staff are super nice and attentive. Great experience.

We had such an amazing experience at this hotel from beginning to end. Everything truly exceeded our expectations. Our concierge Hugo was incredibly attentive, helpful, and always made sure we were taken care of during our stay. The service overall throughout the resort was excellent. The food was honestly one of the highlights of the trip. The buffet was always delicious with so many options, and Carvão restaurant was absolutely amazing as well. But Trattoria definitely became our favorite restaurant during the stay — the atmosphere, food, and service were all outstanding. Another huge plus for families is the kids’ playroom. It was amazing, super entertaining, clean, and made the experience so much better for the children and for us as parents. The entire hotel was beautiful, clean, relaxing, and very well maintained. We truly enjoyed every part of our vacation and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend for couples and families alike!

This resort is top notch and one of the best stays in Cancun. You cannot go wrong with staying here and we will be return customers.

Best vacation ever

Had a great stay at Moon Palace Nizuc. Huge shoutout to Cesar at the pool who literally helped me with everything, he was always quick to bring a drink or food item when empty handed and any information I asked this guy had an answer. Seriously, I have stayed at a few spots and this pool bartender Cesar was the best host I have ever had the experience with. I would go back here just for that alone.

Sales guys drove us crazy. Won't leave us alone in selling a come back coupon that they sell for $399 US. DO NOT ATTEND the presentation it ruined the whole day We opted in for Dolphin show and they didn't provide clear instructions on pickup and we have to pay additional out of pocket to make it to our show. While mistake can be attributed on both sides equally their out right refusal to help paying customers was an awful experience

Love all restaurants, the drinks are really good!! They had clase azul and 1942 for an up charge. Don Julio reposado and way more liquor options included. The arcade is also all inclusive which in many other resorts they are not. Some pools are also heated with is a plus for me. Overall very good resort!

unfortunately i had a disappointing experience. One of the main issues was the lack of halal food options. As a guest with specific dietary requirements, I expected at least some consideration or clear labeling, but there were no suitable choices available, which made dining very difficult during my stay. Another major inconvenience was absence of elevators. Carrying luggage and moving between floors became exhausting, especially in the heat. This is something that should be clearly stated beforehand or addressed to improve guest comfort. Additionally, the transportation within the resort, such as the golf carts, was extremely slow and unreliable. We often had to wait much longer than expected, which wasted a lot of time. Overall, the hotel has potential, but these issues significantly impacted my experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving them for future guests.
