Great location in middle of city.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Internet was flaky and intermittent. Bedside table was very wobbly and sagged to one side.

Front check-in staff to the bar staff were great! Everyone was helpful. Rooms were large and immaculate. We would come back to the same hotel.!

Great location close to shops, restaurants and tours. Hotel staff friendly and courteous and have a smorgasbord breakfast at adjoining Bistro for 16 euro. Big disappointment was the quality of food and lack of fresh fruit and vegetables. Had dinner at three different venues around hotel with very average offerings at high price (20 - 30 Euros each).

Hotel did not tell us we had to pay a city tax until we left. Why did they not charge us this when we checked it??? Normally you can leave a hotel without checking out. We travel all over the world.

We enjoyed our stay at the Modernist Hotel. Easy access to many areas! Room was large and comfortable. We felt bad because bathroom floor does flood a bit when taking a shower.

Our room was small but very clean. The hotel has a fabulous location. Very near sights, shopping, dining. The onsite restaurant was very good and the staff is excellent and helpful

Great room, fantastic showers, and lovely service. Room WiFi had some reliability issues, timing out from time to time.

Hotel room was stark, dark and wasn’t as nice as the pictures.

As advertised, excellent buffet breakfast.

The property is very clean and well-cared for. The location is also excellent, and we appreciated having enough space for both of our suitcases. The staff was also very lovely. Our "issue" (and it's not a really big deal at all) is that the "Modernist" design so touted by the ads, was just really hokey, and even looked a bit cheap. The light fixtures in the room were WAY too bright, and the hallways were just a bit grim. Of course, this is very subjective.

Best Hotel in the best street, walk to everything and lovely staff.
