Great location, perfect for a cheap and cheerful stay for a few days. Hardly any amenities but you are not paying for them. It is a place that mostly does lodging for local Malay workers (all very quiet and respectful). About 12 rooms are for travelers and backpackers. The air-conditioning was absolutely great. Really cold, and it was needed. Just a few minutes walk to shops, bars, and cafes, and about a ten-minute walk to the beach. There is a large and safe car park in case you have hired a scooter or car. The lady that runs it really is very kind and helpful. Note, bring a 50 ringgit note as she takes a refundable cash-only deposit.

The family room is large and spacious, comfortable.
