Clean rooms, good food and very friendly staff- thank you!

I wanted a simple B&B after Glyndebourne, and this was exactly the thing. Very helpful about a late arrival, very friendly reception, nice and quiet room with everything working well, and very close to the sea. Absolutely delicious bacon sandwich for breakfast. I’ve got another booking for early August.

Booked as visiting family location & room were ok & staff friendly but really need new beds as they had passed their best!

Friendly, helpful staff; an easy check-in; clean, comfortable room (ours looked out toward the ocean which was a plus). Most importantly for us, it was steps away from the train station, from a supermarket for supplies, and from the trailhead for an extensive system of hiking trails leading to some truly unique and wonderful landscapes. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable. The food was delicious. Every member of staff I saw was helpful. It is situated within a short walk to the town and the seafront. It is my second time staying there and I would definitely stay there again.

Very convenient in centre of seaford. Large room with sea view! Simple but comfortable. Ideal for walkers on the coast path. Had a nice fish pie in the bar too.

Busy and happy pub with very helpful staff

The staff were so lovely, and breakfast was delicious and very generous. There was a large wedding and golf party the night of our stay which made it quite loud until late, but this cannot be helped. Good value for money

Room was clean and excellent size, though saying sea view was pushing it as that was only visible in top right corner of the dirty window. No food available at 6pm on Sunday evening and the general decor of the pub and facilities is pretty poor. Fine for a short overnight stay but place needs an upgrade

The hotel is above a pub. The pub food is good and economical compared to many other restaurants and pubs in the area. Our room, 101, was spacious with two windows. It had high ceilings and its own bathroom and shower. There was comfortable single sofa chair, and desk and chair.

We ordered a fresh breakfast from a menu. All of the choices were economical.

Ideal for shopping. Although parking was limited at the hotel, there was parking fairly opposite. Couldn't fault the staff, they were very friendly and accomodating.

I received a friendly welcome when I arrived at the Wellington Pub and B&B, and was shown which keys to use to get into the hotel when the pub was closed. My room was clean, and nicely furnished. The ensuite shower room was not a high tech modern one, but was perfectly adequate, and the water was hot. The tea and coffee making supplies were renewed every day.
