Great value, huge room, spacious bathroom Breakfast Bag needed some help.

Rooms were better than expected, actually quite nice. The hotel was difficult to get to and we had to park quite far away after arriving in town after 6pm. No where to unload in front and traffic was heavy upon arrival. Reception was at the bar of hotel which was fine, but all a little awkward.

The bar staff do the check-ins. If you have questions when the bar isn’t open there didn’t appear to be staff around. However, there was a phone number to call. Breakfast was a paper bag in your room with dry porridge you add water to, drink boxes of juice, and apples. Room was clean. The rooms seem fairly pricy considering the lack of services provided.

Great location for a course I was attending and close to shopping centre and restaurants. Room was clean, spacious, and beautiful! Only thing I would suggest is that it would be nice to have a fridge in the room… other than that can fault the Market House!

Lovely room, lots of little touches that made it feel very homely. Really good location. Nice bar and games.

Excellent place, lots of lovely touches and someone has obviously spent a lot of time thinking about those nice touches. Very clean in the rooms and the main bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed less so but that is what it is really. I loved all the helpful little notes around the room. The shower was hot and plenty strong enough. Location is what it is, if you don’t like being in the town centre there this isn’t the place for you. For us it was perfect. Car parking isn’t available

It’s central, no parking but a car park near by and the rooms are lovely - lots of attention to detail, someone has obviously spent a lot of time working on them

House keeping were rude. Staff were unkind to my daughter who was looking around the facilities.

Great accomodation in the centre of Reading. We used it as a base for the reading festival and it was only a 10 minute walk from the accomodation tot he festival bus pick up point just outside the station

Very lucky to book here very last minute as we were let down by our original hotel while we were on our way there ready for Reading Festival. Very friendly staff, room was gorgeous and clean. Very good location right in the city centre but it was still quiet. We were able to get around fine and easy travel to/from the festival. Would recommend and if I ever return to Reading I’d stay again.

Bed comfort

The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was spacious with a refreshing waterfall design. The room was extremely quiet, making for a relaxing stay.

We did not eat in the bar area so can’t comment on food. Room was lovely, the only down side was the tiny tea cups, would prefer a mug for morning tea, especially when breakfast not an option. Good location but unfortunately not able to use roof top bar due to private parties

Great value fun hotel in the heart of Reading. Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Bed comfortable.

Noisy from bar below until 10 pm, but great staff, comfortable bed, and easy walk to train station. I would go back
