A good hotel

Loved this place. Very peaceful. Well appointed family rooms, with everything we needed for a one night stay. Communal areas were great. Nice friendly staff. We did our own drive in the grounds and saw plenty of wildlife. Will definitely come back but stay in the Mountain Lodge next time.

Long wating time for check in

This facility gave me the impression to be geared to bigger groups. It didn't give the intimate feeling we experienced in many other lodges in Namibia

Great wildlife, beautiful rooms and a willingness to facilitate vegan food which isn’t always easy in Namibia

Our visit got of to a very poor start when the lodge were only expecting us for one night's bed and breakfast, but we had paid Expedia for two night's half-board. The reception staff eventually accepted our voucher for two nights, but the reception manager told us we would have to pay for dinner. It was only after dinner on our second night, when we spoke to Schalk Mueller, the lodge manager, that everything was resolved to our satisfaction. This somewhat spoiled our stay, however it would not put me off returning.

A lovely property with nice facilities and game drive options, with the added bonus of free tea and cake in the afternoon to provide a welcoming feel. The overall impression of the staff was that they're friendly, but with limitations. We didn't require dinner, but wanted an evening drink at the bar. This caused considerable consternation and discussion between 3 members of staff before they would serve us. Similarly our initial enquiry of whether we could check in an hour early, this was met with a come back at check in time (14.00) response, without checking whether the room was ready, or would be ready early. Understandable but very blunt.

Setting and game viewing was great. Furnishings and comfort of rooms a bit austere

The setting is beautiful. We arrived late afternoon and the sunset as magical. Dinner was delicious.

A great location and worth spending 2 nights en route to Etosha. Nearby to Africat for a day visit. Very affordable. Game drive is worth doing too.

The room was comfortable and tastefully furnished, with a huge bathroom. Our game drive in the morning provided us with great sightings of rhinos, warthogs, giraffes, many antelopes, camels and even meerkats. The

We took morning & evening safari rides. The highlights were the Rhinos & the Sable breeding area.

El lodge tiene un waterhole increíble donde ves muchísimos animales. La zona de la piscina es sin duda lo mejor del hotel, estaba muy bonito y bien cuidado. Desgraciadamente nos tocó un cuarto muy bonito pero el baño olía fatal, deberían mejorarlo. La cena todos los días estaba espectacular, realmente buena. Sin embargo el menú de la comida era muy limitado y debería mejorar, parecía un menú de niño.

Sehr gute Lodge mit gutem Game Drive auf dem eigenen Gelände. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit. Direkt am Pool kommen die Kudus, Zebras und Warzenschweine vorbei. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend mit selbst angebauten Produkten, da es sich um eine Farm handelt.

Schönes Areal mit Pool. Unterkunft war etwas muffig. Ansonsten alles Bestens.

Tolle Nashorn Pirsch zu Fuß.

Tolle Lodge auf dem Weg von Windhoek nach Etosha. Der Rhino Game Tracking mit Whitey war ein echtes Highlight.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, alles wunderbar. Essen sehr lecker und Zimmer und Service super.
