I choose waterhole view room and it's true what they say, it's premium enough from the views of the water hole I got to see animals grazing, fighting, playing drinking water, this is was breath taking. The beds were king size and very comfy.
Our dining experience was nothing short of spectacular, a true highlight of our stay at the Salt Lick Safari Lodge, where The Bura Restaurant serves as the main dining room. This remarkable venue is designed to accommodate up to 150 guests, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the exquisite culinary offerings in a spacious and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant boasts expansive windows that frame breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, allowing diners to gaze out at the vibrant grasslands and the active watering hole, where wildlife often gathers. The outdoor terraces provide an additional layer of enchantment, inviting guests to savor their meals al fresco while being serenaded by the sounds of nature. As we indulged in our meal, the combination of delectable dishes and the stunning backdrop created an unforgettable dining experience, perfectly capturing the essence of the African wilderness.
Our dining experience was truly remarkable, characterized by the exquisite cuisine prepared by the lodge's esteemed chefs. I extend my compliments for the exceptional offerings. The meal commenced with a selection of savory starters, followed by a delectable main course, and concluded with an assortment of cold ice cream, freshly baked cakes, and a variety of fruits. For those who may not prefer sweets, there is an impressive selection of beverages, including both white and red exotic wines, as well as beers, sparkling water, tea, and coffee.
Additionally, the Vuria Bar Lounge, located directly above the restaurant, features an elevated, shaded terrace that is ideal for enjoying cocktails or coffee while observing the elephants and other wildlife in the vicinity.
The game drive during our visit was somewhat disappointing due to the migration of animals during the rainy season, resulting in fewer sightings than anticipated. The optimal time to visit is after the rainy season, specifically between August and October. Nonetheless, we were able to observe several animals, including zebras, lions, various species of antelopes, large elephants, ostriches, and buffalo.
the spectacular services of the staff was noticed , thank you🙏
