Was supposed to be here for 2 nights, first night first room, TV not working, Wifi not working and no hot water! Moved me to a new room turned out to have the same issues. When I reached the hotel for the second night I was told. there is still no hot water so left the hotel and stayed elsewhere. The room was booked in advance and have contacted the hotel via Expedia twice to try and get a refund for at least the second night and not heard from them at all.

Our stay at this property was nothing short of awful. From the moment we entered the first room, we realised something was very wrong. All the windows were wide open, and the room felt like a freezer. We tried to warm it up, but things only got worse when we checked the bathroom. What we found was honestly disgusting: a filthy sink, a dirty shower, and on the floor… a pair of dirty men’s pants. It was shocking, upsetting, and absolutely unacceptable. Hoping the rest of the room might be better, we looked around, only to discover even more problems. The carpet was dirty, dust was everywhere, and we found spiders in the corners. The whole place felt neglected and unhygienic. At that point, we felt frustrated and honestly quite helpless, so we went straight to reception. To their credit, a staff member came with us and took photos, clearly seeing the state of the room. We hoped the second room would be an improvement, but sadly it still disappointed us. It was cold as well, the bathroom radiator was leaking water all over the floor, the cups and kettle area was covered in dust, and we even saw another red spider near the window. We felt tired, uncomfortable, and honestly just wanted to leave. The next morning, we tried to at least start the day with a cup of coffee. But after one sip, we were shocked again: the coffee tasted strongly of washing liquid, as if the cups had been soaked but never rinsed. Although the bed and shower were fresh and clean, the rest of the hotel was either dirty or broken. toilet seat wasnt properly attached. TV remote repaired with duct tape. Homeless people congregating outside the property.

Room I had booked had broken blinds on the ground floor. Room was recently refurbished but not well maintained. Raised this to reception area and they moved me to a smaller room but did not refund the price difference. I did arrive late (after 10pm) so staff coverage was probably low.

The hotel looks good on the website, however it needs a refresh. My room has only a vertical blind no curtains, no air conditioning & is very warm. The window overlooks an alley which has not been cleaned in a while beyond the alleyway is a carpark for a local business. I have to say how disappointed i am as it looks much better on the website.

Parking not ideal. Good luck if tour in room 114. Door doesnt work. No windows - no fan - no air con. I sat up instead of sleeping due to the heat in this room. Reception and ground floor STINKS of a unhygienic chippy. I oaid £95 to not sleep and smell something rancid.

The room was smelly on entry. And thick layers of dust on window seals. The window blinds were in a bad way and so alley street light shone through. Additionally I had to ask the night porta for a way to cover the fire emergency light which illuminated the room once lights were out.

I booked in with breakfast using a nhs discount. Between the hotel and expida. I never got one and was told I wasn’t down for it. Even though I paid £20 for it. Was offered toast as a sorry. Towels had make up on. Stairs carpet is lose.

Not very clean at all Cobwebs all in the bedroom and under the sofa, it looked like it had not been cleaned for months. Mattress was dirty as well. Would not pay £141 for this hotel, very overpriced for the state of the rooms
