No staff on site and restaurant was not open. Initial access was difficult. Room itself was very nice. The surrounding area was awesome with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Car had to be parked pretty far away as the area is only open to foot traffic.

Nice little room in a very friendly hotel in a beautiful place.

Lovely from start to finish. We ate in their restaurant too and the food and service were excellent.

Property manager was so kind and helpful. Also he drove us to where our car was parked.

If you have very small luggage and can walk up the hill this is the best value for a genuine experience in Peñoscola A wonderful generous host with a lively bar near fantastic views, shopping and drinks. Also only 5 minutes downhill to both beach sides of the old town. So many restaurant options and the rooms, while small, are renovated and super clean with goid windows and balconettes.

Beautiful hotel right in the old town, steps from the castle, beach, restaurant was delicious too!! The couple and their son run the hotel and restaurant and they are warm, helpful and work so hard to keep it clean! They speak English and do everything to accommodate you! The price was so reasonable and the restaurant was excellent as well. I felt so safe and cared for as a single female traveler. Everything was right at my front door. Spotless and I loved the balcony!! I will return!

Great and friendly accommodations. Very small room but it was all I needed as a solo traveler. I would stay here again!

I came in the of season. Most amenities were in the town - 3 minute walk. The place felt very much in harmony with the Papa Luna. A great experience. I havr never been treated so kindly at a hotel like I was here. Rrally good people. I imagine it is bustling an noisy in the summer but I would highly recommend a nice quiet break in the off season.

Great stay!

We had a nice stay in Peniscola a this hotel. A few things. This hotel is in the restricted peninsula where you cannot reach by car. You’ll need to pay park outside of the area carry your bags up many cobblestone roads and stairs. It’s a haul. The rooms are basic, clean and functional. You do get a fair amount of noise from the street and the bar/restaurant downstairs. Also, be aware that the bell tower is very close, very active, and very loud. The owner was very nice and very helpful.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location. The management went out of their way to accommodate a late change to our plans and gave us great clear instructions.

A beautiful property with a stunning view. The Hosts were very nice with us and helped us with a late check in and parking for our car. The food at the res is also excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely view and situation on the hill.

This is not a 3 Star hotel. It is 2 Star at best. After arriving, we decided not to stay the night and booked another hotel. First time I have ever done that.

Unfortunately we could only stay for one night. It is a lovely little hotel with a fantastic restaurant.

Lovely traditional hotel, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Nice room with lovely view of the church and sea. Good air conditioning. Veru good value. Highly recommended.

Peniscola old town reminded of some of my favourite holiday memories of times spent on the Greek Islands. Character and charm in abundance and beautiful beaches on your doorstep.
