Located on a Holiday Park the pod was cosy with facilities in The Barn nearby. There was a cafe on site and a large shop. Only drawback was cafe doesn’t open until 10.30 weekend and 10.45 weekdays and we are early risers. We had to take our own sheets bedding and towels which we didn’t expect. Luckily we had these in our van. The site is not far from Bridlington.

This was a peaceful place to stay as a good base for visiting the coast for a few days. The staff were lovely, the pod and bathroom were very clean.

The stay in its self was lovely, yes the peacocks were loud however that wasn’t an issue. For us what let it down was the fire what seemed to happen during evening meal times, this stopped us sitting outside in the picnic area to eat. It wasn’t just a little bit of smoke it was unbearable to the point we had to message the manager of the site to ask when it was going out. If you’ve asthma I wouldn’t recommend staying here due to the smoke.

The yurts are amazing. Definitely request an electric one they warm up so quickly. The people with the log burners always swemed to run out and only 1 bag was provided so they always said it ended up coal. Definitely pop into the animal park that is amazing. The brazilian lady came across very rude but the owner was really attentive when we had an issue and all the other staff were really friendly.

We stayed in a pod, very clean, no bedding so you must ask for bedding and pillows. Shower and toilet area clean, although only one and a qué started to form. One downside is the cafe opening times. Only opens at 10.30, which is late if you want breakfast. Also you need to be out of the pod for 10am but cafe is not open to drop the keys off. The pods are near the animal park, so be prepared to be woke up around 4am. Overall nice park, not much on site but was ok for us for 2 nights seeing family.

I confirmed by text that I would be arriving between 5-6pm. This was not acknowledged. I arrived just before 6pm and there was nobody there. I sent a text and tried phoning but no answer. I sent a further text after around 15 mins stating I would be leaving shortly and would be expecting a full refund. A few minutes after that I had a phone call describing which yurt I would be in and sending me a photo of the codes for the toilet and shower block. However, I forgot to mention that I would like to hire (at an additional cost of £40.00) some bedding. I was tired after a long day of travelling, and had a blanket with me, so I decided I'd be fine. Ended up with all my clothes piled on top of me as it was very cold considering it was mid-May. I left at 7am and just kept driving. The toilet block wasn't particularly clean either.

The pod itself was clean, and comfortable, once I had requested another mattress on my bed as the one that was on was so thin I could feel the bed boards through it. The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. The toilet and shower room was not as I expected. There's basically 3 very large bathrooms, which are shared, we were given a code for one of the bathrooms, which meant that if someone else was using it, we had to wait to use the toilet or shower. There was no hot water in there either, which I did report to reception, but still none the next day. I can't comment on the cafe as we did not use it. The animal park next door was worth a visit and reasonably priced. It's not too far from Bridlington itself so that was good.

Noise levels from other families, felt like we on an 18-30's holiday. Food is limited and expensive and not as advertised. We booked a Yurt but were put in a pod... No cold water in bathroom....

Our stay at Park Rose was Very Poor, the whole place is very dated and needs a complete overhaul, Toilets, you have to key in a number to get in to them 99% of the time the code did not work , this also applied to the Showers & Washing areas, The Yurts where in poor condition , leaked when it rained, we had to buy our own Beding ! Supermarket was Ok, No general bin for rubbish, Taps that didnt work, Toilets that did not work, Lights that did not work, Short leads on Electric Kettle, Fire & only 2 electric points, In total I would rate thjis place 4 out of 10, will not be coming back !

The hut was perfectly fine and quite comfortably, washing and toilet facilities were clean and well maintained, when you could access them. To get access to these facilities you firstly need a pin-code for the main door, then a second code for the toilet and wash facility. Not very convenient in the middle of the night when needing the toilet.

A nice place to stay, especially when the weather is good due to the outdoor space. Only downfall was the lack of black out blinds. The noise of the peacocks doesn’t make for great sleeping, but the kids loved having them around.
