If you are booking last minute for Lake Ohrid and you need a room with a bed and a bathroom at a reasonable price, this is a place for that, but not much more. It's about 5 minutes downhill to the nearest beach and to town. Uphill is a climb and doable for the able bodied, but not recommend for those with mobility issues. The owner will kindly offer pick up at the bus station; take him up on it as you won't find this place on your own. Lake Ohrid in general is lively and has a great vibe, don't miss it when you are in Northern Macedonia!

Nice small apartment. It’s clean You have to contact the owner to meet you at a check point to take you to the property. Several things to consider: 1- the address is not the same as the one mentioned on Expedia, it’s up the hill and so exhausting to walk it up if you are coming from the beach or the center of the city. I appreciate though the upgrade to lake view which was beautiful view 2- you have to pay for cleaning fees and some taxes on the spot 3- A/C is not for free which is weird, I didn’t realize this except later at night after I checked in and he left the property and in my email confirmation it was never mentioned. When I texted he ignored my message though he saw it on what’s app and next day he sent me a link that it’s mentioned. I think he just added it to the listing after I asked. 4- the listing mentions a kettle and there is not 5- the listing mentions a flat screen TV with cable and TV present is an old box TV and it doesn’t broadcast any channels I read similar review here in Expedia with some complaints and the reply from the property is that this person didn’t stay in the property, which is weird because Expedia doesn’t allow reviews except from guests who reserved and paid. Bottom line don’t trust everything mentioned on the listing and make sure to read all the detail hidden fees. It’s good place if you want a nice view of the lake and close to main attractions but be aware of the above stuff and that the ADDRESS is not correct

The place isn't that easy to find, but the host supplied sufficient information and waited at the indicated location. Just 2 minutes from the old town centre.

Convenient location, nearly the port and old town.

Værelset var i en lejlighed som de havde delt op i to på øverste etage (6.sal) af en boligkompleks men med gå afstand til byen og søen. Ok værelse med en behagelig seng, lille altan men man kunne ikke sove med åbne vinduer, da der var meget larm fra byen til sent aften. Air condition kostede 5 euro ekstra per dag Og hvis man har bil, så er der parkering i kælderen som koster 10 eur per dag. Og så skulle man også betale byskat per person - også til børn, som man ikke skal andre steder i landet.
