Totally exceeded our expectations A real pub, full of locals all enjoying themselves. Spotlessly clean, great bar staff, really friendly and well trained. Food was Vunderba, all home cooked. Room was immaculate and characterful. Breakfast wonderful Definitely return for longer jyst to stay here.

Room was spotlessly clean and the bath and shower room was fantastic, all the staff were friendly and courteous and the food was brilliant. Excellent pub for everyone with a good selection of drinks, we will be returning here

This was a friendly welcoming pub with a very comfortable room. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed.

Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious too (other options are available). All the staff were friendly and attentive and helped to make our stay extra special. We would love to visit again, hopefully in the summer to take advantage of the lovely beer garden. Our thanks to all at The Fleece Inn, for a memorable stay.

Spotless room, really comfy bed, great shower and bath with plenty hot water. Bar was busy but a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, breakfast was excellent. Staff very polite and helpful, all round and excellent little pub with rooms, we will be back.

Comfortable and clean room with plenty of space. Large en-suite with a separate bath and shower. The team were friendly and gave great customer service.

A beautiful place. The staff are amazing, the rooms are clean, big and soooo comfortable and the food is stunning. Every member of staff makes you feel welcome and like you’re part of the family. Thank you. We’ll see you again next year.

Outstanding food, excellent staff and Greenhill is a pleasant room with an excellent bathroom. But the window sash cord was broken which made it rather hazardous to open the window

Lovely stay here , room was comfortable , warm and clean , very quiet despite being by the road . The only noise was from the bar quiz but that didn’t go on for long . Our meal here was lovely, reasonably priced and well worth the money , when the beer my partner wanted had finished he chose another, only to be brought a free half pint when it was back on again . Wouldn’t hesitate to return

We had a great stay at The Fleece Inn. The setting is peaceful and charming, and we really appreciated the Inn’s character. We enjoyed spending time at the pub and were especially impressed by the vegan dinner options. The staff were welcoming and flexible, putting together a delicious, well-presented, and affordable meal. The Inn is fully dog-friendly, and we would definitely recommend it. We’re already looking forward to returning!
