My stay at Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia was exceptional from start to finish. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff were consistently courteous, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience feel seamless and relaxed. The amenities were outstanding — the spa, restaurants, and common areas were all impeccably maintained and added a real sense of luxury to the stay. Overall, a perfect experience that exceeded my expectations in every way.

I have been staying at the grand millennium since they’re opening for the past five years. They used to have a five star and very welcoming staff. Some of the new front desk staff (especially the lady supervisor), were rude and lacked attention to details. Made me feel uncomfortable when they ignored the fact that I have Hotel.com vip status, and refused to even consider the basic amenities such as a free parking…which they always gave. More over our first night at was in a room without a working AC room 1117 (double check if you get this room) and at first they just insisted it is just a configuration (as if we are dumb not knowing how to use an ac remote) the next day they checked and they confirmed the AC didn’t work, and switched us to room 2317. NO APOLOGIES NO UPGRADE NOTHING. I didn’t ask for anything- but what makes a five star hotel is their proactiveness at making the customer feel wanted and attended to. This was supposed to be a very special trip. Spoiled by a chain of events. Other than that the rooms are big an comfortable The staff at the spa are amazing, and the ladies who did our pedicure were very professional. The restaurant breakfast staff, there used to be a lady that was really top and a phenomenal memory - unfortunately was no longer there.

Wonderful stay! Staff were great and really liked the spa.

The hotel, room, and amenities were amazing! However when we arrived we were told at checkout there would be an additional “tourist tax” I asked if this would have been something covered under the original booking and they said no. We left this morning with the keycards in the room and everything in good order. We didn’t take anything from the minibar or snacks. I received a phone call about not paying the “tourist tax” and she said they needed me to give them my card information so they could charge me. I’m simply writing this review for my record if they try to charge me for anything through Expedia. Thank you and have a wonderful day!!

Location was great, room massive for no reason. Cleaning of room minimal, staff could smile it doesn’t cost anything. Worst bed I have ever slept in, pillows and mattress and duvet for the bin. Not 5 star at all.

the hotel is nice and good we had good service we enjoyed

Probably the largest hotel room I’ve stayed in, certainly had a wow factor. The hotel itself is impressive with good dining on site. The actual hotel is a little way out of the main shopping and dining streets but still walkable. The staff were a touch clinical and aloof in their manner but I find this can be the case in high end hotels where warmth sometimes lacks

Upgraded to suite with a bottle of wine. Wine was not avaliable when i arrived. Was brought the next day. Was told I had to pay for the spa, and would be charged for it. However, the room i got included spa access. To book an appointment eith Spa services, the female party was rude. Also had to tell the front desk when I was leavinf and coming back which was an inconvenience. This was die to a "virtual parking". Was not needed

The room was large but it would have been improved by the addition of a sofa
