The apartment was clean, well equipped, with a comfortable bed and excellent pillows. Sofa uncomfortable. A public walkway went past our window, and was a shortcut through to the station so there was a certain amount of chatter going by. The safe, was not attached to anything and could be picked up and made off, with any valuables handily inside. Getting in was like competing in Crystal Maze, with codes and two pages of instructions which I had to print out, with reminders of the fine for not getting it right. The apartment keypad was on a hair trigger so it was easy to double enter one of the 8 or 9 digits!

The apartments are spotlessly clean. The support team of both cleaners and maintenance men on site and the call centre are fantastic. The security of the car park and building itself are outstanding. The electrical appliances (fridge, dishwasher, hob, washing machine, dishwasher etc etc) are all brand new and premium/ recognised brands.. SMEG, Hotpoint etc... But the apartments are just missing a few home comforts. Higher standard of cutlery and knives. Mirror in the lounge or bedroom. Lamp in the lounge. Bedside lamps in the bedrooms. The black out curtains and blinds need an overhaul. These are all minor things... and so easy to fix. We would not hesitate to stay again, despite these faults and hope they will be rectified soon. Also be aware, we have observed 5 arriving guests who didnt have their confirmation code. Hotels.com block your email address to Viridian. Virdian need to email you the code to get in. So most people who had a room booked by somebody else, hadn't received the confirmation code and had to call Customer Services. If you make your own booking they will immediately follow up with an email. But if someone else has booked on your behalf, that rarely gets forwarded on.
