The breakfast was fresh and healthy, the staff was always very kind and helpful. Cleanliness could be improved (found a used cotton pad in the sink, and the shower gel was empty when we arrived). Rooms are small, but the location is convenient and easily accessible by public transport.

First timer in Amsterdam, stayed in Joordan District. If you just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel is fine. It is a walking distance from many point of interests. The tram and subway stations are very closed by. The front desk staffs are much more friendlier than the morning dining ones. The ladies need more hospitality skills.

Great location, close to restaurants, Metro, and walking distance to shopping, red light district and many other attractions. Krisotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and shower are a little on the small side but adequate and clean.

The location is ideal for the museums and local dining and shopping options. The common area of the hotel could be tidier, but the room was clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The air conditioning works well BUT is controlled centrally by the hotel staff, and they switch to heat in the evening. With warm days and cool nights in May it was too hot in the room in the evening. The hotel is on a busy street, and opening the windows allows in a lot of street noise.

Nothing but professionalism was met at KrisotelAmstrtdam! Friendly and so welcoming and helpful receptionists, who didn’t hesitate to walk with you outside to show what exactly turn you need to make to get to where you need, carry your begs, patiently search for you to get the best tour, the best transportation, the best souvenirs stores… Tiny but so comfortable room with extremely comfortable bed, extremely white beddings and towels, thoughtfully prepared for you sets for tea or coffee centered with cozy singing kettle. Thank you all from Krisotel for making eight days of my Amsterdam vocation so joyable!

Amazing stay at the rooms were clean. Property was nice and unlimited coffee or tea all the time. It was a nice bonus. Our only complaints were the room got hot and you couldn’t adjust the temperature. And the bathroom smelled like a sewer

The location was wonderful. We walked to the museums and also next day to Anne Frank house, palace, red light district. All within 30 min walking from hotel. Also lots of eateries within 10-15 min. Staff extremely friendly

We ended up booking this hotel for a girls trip in April. We had a room facing the street so it got very loud at night as there was a Coffeeshop and pub right across the street. The other reason for the noise-the hotel staff kept manually turning off the AC- forcing us to open the window to cool the room down. Some nights it was quiet, other nights we were not able to sleep. Several nights it appeared someone was stomping or moving furniture in the room above us.

Great stay, excellent location! Friendly and warm staff. Typical of the region the room is a little small so plan accordingly.

Overall an ok stay but would try and avoid the basement rooms. We were right below reception and could hear every chair moving. In addition there were a few ants in the room. That said, the staff were very helpful in resolving this and accommodating. Free coffee and water was a nice touch. Location was great as slightly away from the hustle and bustle but everything was walkable

The location was great, within walking distance of most attractions, especially the Vondelpark, Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Hotel staff were very helpful. The room didn't have a view and was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked good.

Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and small but clean eating area. Free coffee and tea available 24/7 which is a nice touch. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room had the necessary amenities and was clean but small. Very tight bathroom and sleeping area
