Super conveninte location

Great stay! The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was superb, I don't think you can find a better spot for the quality and price. It is close to museums, El Retiro Park, and tons of bars and restaurants. There are metro and bus stations very close by, but you can pretty much walk anywhere. The only downside is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear other guests from your room, but it’s nothing to complain about. The thick double-glazed windows work wonders, so there was no street noise at all. Slept like a rock during my stay.

Staff and the clean room

I like the lockers for storing our luggage on the day of our departure. The location is very walkable and convenient. I also really like the hardwood floor. The beds are comfortable too.

Excellent self-controlled AC/heat, beautiful clean modern room with good bathroom, small balcony, sound-proof shutters, free coffee,tea and also small fridge. Wonderful helpful staff!

Clean room, courteous staff, good location

The room is very spacious and the location is near all the big touristic places

We got a room at the back which is quiet and it's clean. Also, we arrived before the check-in time and luckily our room is ready. The room is not very big and we need to go down 2 steps from the bathroom to the bedroom, which I don't like. I always have to pay attention in order not to miss those steps especially at night. Otherwise, we have no complain about the room.

Room in a great location for exploring Madrid

We don’t usually book B&B type guesthouses. However UMA was very good for this type of accommodation. Room was relatively spacious as far as Madrid goes. Bathroom was clean and well organized. Beds were comfortable. The area is busy and noisy into the night, but it did not bother me.

Clean, spacious room. Everything worked perfectly, after receiving the email with pins on the doors. I will come back for sure.

Overall the property was a good value. We had three people in the room and the fold out bed wasn’t great. It was an old mattress that had lost its support - particularly in the middle. Location was good for what we needed. The property is clean and well maintained.

Safe, clean, comfortable and nicely designed suites. The auto check-in was slightly awkward (since they have limited staff hours) but still worked. The location is fantastic, walking distance from Atocha, and in a very lively and safe area. Recommended!

Excellent value. Spacious suite, spotless, personal experience. Loved the street noise insulation. Suggested: improve storage options by offering a dresser or shelves.

Great hotel and area. The staff were very responsive and thoughtful. Room was small but beautiful, functional and shockingly quiet. Highly recommend Scarlet for breakfast, just around the corner!
