This place is a fantastic stay—quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The host kindly upgraded us to the largest room since the others were unoccupied.
It beautifully blends traditional Korean Hanok style with the comfort of a modern bed mattress.
The host also prepared a delicious breakfast for us, which was a wonderful touch.
While it wasn’t the purpose of our trip, those interested in Hwangnidan Street will find this stay very convenient—it’s close by and easily walkable. We were mainly focused on visiting historical sites, which were also within walking distance.
The only minor downside for us as Westerners was the bathroom setup. I had expected a more conventional shower with a shower booth and large towels, but it followed a more traditional (?) style.
However, this was by no means a deal-breaker. The place is exceptionally clean and comfortable, and I would love to stay here again if I ever visit Kyung Ju.
