Bare bones hotel. Nothing more than soap, shampoo and conditioner in the rooms. No coffee nor anything else. Stark contrast to other hotels in which we have stayed while visiting Japan.

Centrally located within easy walking distance of all the tourist sites. Good sized room with kitchen facilities.

Clean, helpful staff, close to trains/buses and really close to Kanazawa Castle.

The hotel is at a great location, close from the castle, Kenrokuen, and Omicho Market, and also at the midpoint of the two chaya districts in the East and the West. The room was clean and spacious. However, we were a bit disappointed that the room did not have a dining table although the pictures for the Executive Room made it seem like it had one. Also, the washing machine in our room had a "do not use" sign, so we had to use the washing machine on a different floor. It seemed a bit unfair that we were paying the same price for those rooms that had a dining table and a working laundry machine. But overall, enjoyed our stay here and the staff members were friendly.

We stayed at the tatami room in this hotel and we are delighted by the quality-price ratio as well as the amazing service! The room is impeccable and there is actually front desk staff present at all times during the two days we were in kanazawa. Only downside is that it’s pretty far from the station (20-25 min walking especially if you are carrying luggages) and couple minutes by bus, which is still pretty convenient (during the day).

Didn't love the self check in process. Would much prefer it done the old fashioned personable way. Previous guests fake eyelashes and eyeliner found in suite which was off putting. The bean filled pillow was uncomfortable. Wish they had provided 2 pillows per person. Other that that we enjoyed our stay. The shower room is nice as was the kitchen space.

About 15-20 minutes walk from the main train station. Very good hotel, wide lounge area, free laundry room. Downtown, close to all areas of interest and shops. Good service too!

One of the best properties we’ve stayed in Japan. Had the executive room and it was huge, clean and modern. Location was great, most places we wanted to see was within 5-20min walk.

The location is near to many popular tourist spots in Kanazawa. It is also near the railway station. The rooms are big and comfortable. The beds are comfy. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. The reception is very helpful and quick to respond.

Definitely recommend this one, specially the Executive Triple Room or any upgrade, we got a kitchen and a washer/dryer. Location is great as you have a 7 eleven and a Lawsons in walking distance, top notch shopping malls are on the same street.

The Minn hotel was a nice hotel. The hotel is decently situated to walk to multiple locations around Kanazawa. It is also right on one of Kanazawa’s major bus loop. This allows you to easily hope on/off the bus if you’re tired of walking. The staff was nice, but wasn’t able to help with some basics like asking for a laundry bag or an envelope. I was constantly told to go to the local convenient store if I need something. As for the room, it was very spacious. One of the larger rooms we had throughout our trip. As mentioned before, the hotel is close to some of the local sightseeing locations, but the major issue is restaurants. There are few restaurants in the area, and we found ourselves traveling back towards the train station on a regular basis to find decent restaurants. Other then that, the hotel was nice. Overall it was a decent hotel and for the price you are getting a pretty good place to stay. The staff could be a little more helpful, but it wasn’t a major deal breaker.

The stay at minn Kanazawa was a good one. The women at the counter was very cute and so welcoming so thank you. They’re so kind at this hotel and though I didn’t stay long it was nice. I will say maybe not the best choice if you are a smoker like I am since it is a smoke free hotel other then that I would really recommend this hotel!

It's the best hotel room among over 10 hotels we stayed. Super clean, convenient location, new & updated, comfortable bed, and fancy bathrooms.

Walking distance to most attractions. We (2persons) stayed at a 3-person Japanese style room with two futon beds and a pull out couch. Room is spacious and the bathroom is impeccably clean. Note that there is no daily room service. Extra towels were provided for our 3-day stay. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a clean and comfortable place to stay without frills such as breakfast buffet, gym, swimming pool or hot spring bath. Will stay again.

Very nice room for a very nice price. It’s in the downtown area, so the castle and its park, many department stores, and the train station are all within a 20 minute walk. Folks as the front desk were amiable and helpful. Only part I disliked was sometimes trucks would drive by on the main street blasting ads that you could kind of hear from within the building.

Booked Premium room and was very comfortable and spacious. Reception were very helpful. Good location near Kanazawa Castle. Would stay again.

Hotel is in a convenient location for sightseeing, with the main attractions being within walking distance or only a short bus ride away. Room itself is ok but there is no housekeeping if you stay less than a week.
