Thw room was comfortable for our 3 night stay. It was clean and had good AC. It is very minimal for what you get. There was no kleenex or anything besides toilet paper. Seemed expensive for such a basic room. You possibly could ask for items from the front desk but we didnt try. The safe was not actually bolted down so anyone could pull it out and take it. Our room the battery for the safe was dead, we asked front desk to change the batteries but they never did. It wasnt thay big of a deal so we didnt push the issue. Staff were helpful in other ways and I wouldn't say it was that much of a negative that they couldnt get the safe working. The rooms were quiet enough and we weren't disturbed. You could hear people in the hall and if they were talking loud in the neighboring room but it was not excessive. The breakfast was simple but good enough to get us started for the day. The location was good and we felt safe staying there.

Breakfast variety is fair, all fresh though. Ibis doesn‘t throw unpleasant surprises. If you don‘t expect opulence, but rather seek no frills clean bed, clean room and simple breakfast to get you started, Ibis doesn‘t disappoint.

Great amenities and comfortable room

I really enjoyed my stay at Ibis Styles Barcelona Centre Hotel during my 6 nights in Barcelona. I would like to thank all the staff working here. They are all very welcoming, friendly and approachable. The place is very clean and secured. All guests would need to use their key card to enter the main front entrance ( or ring the door bell without key card), and all floors are key card controlled access. It’s a very environmentally friendly place with all the essential items I needed. The breakfast was superb and excellent. Lots of fruits, baked pastries, meats, eggs to choose from. Once again, I want to thank all the staff here. On my first day (Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025), I arrived about 1.5 hour before my ckeck-in time and before the room was ready. The lady and gentleman at the front desk allowed me to sit at the dining area while they were mopping the floor. They even offered me to self help with water or coffee. On Wednesday (Dec. 10), I asked another gentleman at the front desk about my interest in joining a tour to go to Montserrat. I showed him a guided tour I found online, and asked if he has any suggestion. He was very helpful and suggested me booking the tour I found online even though the hotel works with another tour company. (I hope I am not putting him in trouble by saying this.). I also want to thank another gentleman in the morning on Saturday (Dec 13) who allowed me to eat breakfast even before it was open at 7am so that I can meet up my tour group at 8am.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little small but have everything you need. Also close to main attractions of Barcelona so if you’re visiting, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

It is the best hotel in Europe that I have been to, and I have been to a lot! The staff is great and the room was lovely! Controllable air-conditioning! Breakfast was terrific!

Reasonably priced, staff were very helpful and welcoming (especially the breakfast team), rooms had the essentials. The main downside was the walls are very thin, so it’s pretty noisy, particularly in the mornings when neighbouring rooms are checking out.
