The location of the Northlander Motel could not be better as it is walkable to a variety of restaurants and a large grocery store. My room was clean and large, and provided a very comfortable night of sleep.

The property is a good place to stay and good value for the money. It is not fancy but very clean and handy to the mall a few steps away.

Very clean. Dated decor but great for an overnight stay. Friendly quick checkin. Room had air already turned on. Easy to locate. Restaurants close by.

Property outside & lobby is dated, but the room was newly renovated and comfortable. Very close to restaurants and shopping.

This was one of the cleanest hotels we stayed at during our road trip. The property was immaculate from top to bottom, and even my very tidy wife was impressed. The hotel was also quiet, which made for a comfortable and restful stay. Its location was convenient for visiting the Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.

Older motel, but everything was in excellent condition, and the room/bed was very clean.

This hotel is very old as soon as you look at it you think oh what have I done but once you get inside the room, you see it’s all new and the staff is very helpful polite and quick. I am 83 years old travelling along with my dog and I felt safe.
