Pros
The staff has always been very helpful and, when possible, intervened promptly to resolve problems.
They kept my luggage at the reception the day I arrived until it was time to check in.
The hotel has a good location, close to minimarkets, restaurants, and the main street.
The hotel also offers breakfast, although it is just toast and tea.
Cons
There were several power outages during the week I stayed, and it wasn't even high season.
From late evening until morning, the water in my room was not working. This happened for all the nights I stayed here. It was especially inconvenient when I had to get ready early in the morning to catch the 6.30 am tour to Komodo Island.
Sometimes the water didn't work even during the day, but usually for short periods of time.
A bad smell was coming from the bathroom drain or sink.
The towels and sheets were clean and smelled good but also had holes and stains, which made them look dirty.
