Lovely property and bedroom very modern and warm. Very quiet too. The cleanliness of the room unfortunately wasn't good. Carpet needed hoovering. Toilet seat not clean. The bin in the bathroom had someone elses sanitary deposits. The shower grate was filthy and rinsed the shower before i went in. Such a shame as a great price for the room, but feel a deep clean of the room is needed.

i never even saw the room. This was my second bad experience with Hotels.com in the SAME day after years of using the service with rarely a negative experience. It makes me really question whether I will use it again. In this case, the hotel was not a hotel at all but an airbnb equivalent. There was no front desk and nobody to speak to at the property. The entry was locked so we couldn't get in the front door. I do occasionally stay in AirBnBs on my own but never with my family. Found a hotel through a different app and had a good night. Did not bother trying to talk about a refund since I expected the result would be I would be pointed to the no refund policy. I don't like buying things blind, especially if I can't be confident on what I am receiving.

Rooms clean, never see anyone, you get a message to let you k ow the codes to get in and for the key safe. Stayed he a couple of times now.

Clean room, good amenities

The hair dryer is missing . And the radiator is not working. We message the host around 11pm. We appreciate that it’s a bit late in the night but no response until we check out. Also there is dust on the wall, not as clean as other guests commented However the bed is quite comfortable.

The bathroom was shocking mould around the shower tray. Shower head absolutely filthy toilet seat broken and it stunk of drainage!!

Hotel is located on a quiet street in a small village just outside Coventry airport and the outer ring road. Chinese takeaway next door and convenience store across the street (although check opening hours; it was shut when I arrived about 5pm). Also a pub about 5-10 min walk down the road. Plenty of parking at the rear and access codes to the front door and your room are sent shortly before arrival. Room had all usual amenities - storage, telly, kettle with plenty of tea and biscuits, shampoo/body wash/hand cream in the bathroom. Extras of essential items were available in the main entrance, along with a vending machine for snacks and drinks. WiFi worked well, bed was very comfy, room was a good temperature, and although some noise was audible from other rooms, people were very considerate about trying to be quiet. Shower was a bit cosy, particularly for anyone over 5'10". Room was generally clean but had a few stains on the carpet and hard water marks on all the bathroom sanitary ware. Still very good value for money, though, and would definitely stay again.

Quiet. Very clean. Self service. Spacious rooms. Located in small & safe village. Local pub is great fun! Downside: Heavy on the air freshener.

Room was clean just the bathroom smelt. Didn’t see anyone the whole time we stayed there. Parking was good, didn’t use the Wifi

Good parking. Room was spotless. Very basic clinical furniture. Bed was very hard, which is great for me. Good pub within walking distance.

I was at The Dakota for four nights and two of them were a bit of a challenge but the managers were amazing. Brilliant communication and were able to help me. They offered suggestions for where to eat too which was a bonus. It was a nice and quiet location and the rooms were quiet too aside from some banging doors from other guests but that’s to be expected. The key lock boxes were fabulous and I felt very safe as a solo traveller. There was the odd few cobwebs and the bathroom smelled a bit damp but nothing major. I would stay there again.

My stay at the Dakota met my expectations. The people in charge contacted me before hand to let me know the arrangements which were straight forward. My stay was most comfortable and without fuss.

Did what it said on the can. Comfortable place to stay for the night, and at a good price. No staff on site but cgeck in instructions were clear, everything was set up for our arrival and we had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Couple of Premier Inns nearby (driving) if you need a breakfast buffet option.

On arrival we noticed the room hadn't been cleaned there were marks on sheets quilt cover mattress protector. We text the owner i think to ask for the bed to be remade. Removal of dirty underwear found in a draw plus empty bottle of shower wash out of the shower. The shower when wet was slimey wall and tray. The grout was orange/pink where it hadn't been cleaned. Marks in the toilet, extractor fan was jamed up with dust cobwebs. Cobwebs in the bedroom been there for a long time as black. Blind did not work properly the small window did not close Or lock. The quilt was a 13.5tog far to heavy for summer only 1 pillow each. Dust everywhere even on top of the kettle the 2 glasses were coverd in finger prints and marks, there were no spoons to stir your tea, a very small tv for the size of the room. The text messages i received from the owner whilst we were out for Dinner ( there know this) did interrupted our dinner out with friends.
