I booked the room at 8 PM the night before. When I arrived, the hotel staff made me sign all sorts of paperwork to check in, but I couldn't get to my room. I went down to the reception desk and they said they made a mistake, that the room I booked was full but they hadn't received my booking information (even though the money had been deducted the day before). It was 10 PM, and three staff members huddled together, making me wait and whispering to each other. I was traveling with my 4-year-old son, and he was very tired from a long day. Annoyed, I demanded to see the manager to resolve the issue quickly, but they said the manager wasn't there and told me to go somewhere else and they would refund my money. I asked how they could refund me when the app still showed the room was available, the money had already been deducted, and the room was non-refundable, but the staff couldn't answer. At 11 PM, I was so angry that if they wouldn't let me check in or refund my money, I would call the police. That's when they revealed another room, claiming the guest hadn't arrived and asking me to check in. The room smelled terribly damp and musty. I can't understand how a hotel like this is a 4-star hotel. I'm giving it 1 star, I will never come back, and I advise everyone not to come here.
