The service between the staff felt inconsistent. On check in the man that checked us in was lovely and let us know what was included in our package. When we went to utilise our package we felt weird as none if the staff seemed to know what we were talking about (eg: welcome champagne, room credit & parking).

Relaxed and friendly

First time staying here. Nice room, big gym (for a hotel) and cool, heated pool.

It was actually so nice that every staff member said hello, regardless of what they were doing. Also loved the pool. This is a great option for relaxing.

Lovely hotel but too far out from city centre

Good location as you can walk everywhere you want to go to. The staff are exceptional friendly and always pleasant. Always get a great night's sleep as it's away from noise of Melbourne CBD. Great food places within 20 minute walk so you can walk of the desert. Extremely clean also.

Very clean and quiet, this is an excellent biz choice. Great gym. Neighborhood has lots going on. Highly recommend.

Lovely room, shower could have been better cleaned

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were simple, comfortable and clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was wide, fresh and tasty. Only downsides would be parking is not under cover and a two min walk away, shops and restaurants around 7 min walk away.

New hotel & very modern

Lovely, spacious comfortable room on the 10th room with great views of the city, freeways and tram depot. The shower/toilet was very cramped - you could not have swung a cat in it! The staff we interacted with were friendly, courteous and helpful. However, it should be noted that we never saw anybody at the concierge desk in the lobby and the reception is actually on the 7th floor. Parking is available, but it’s in the open on the other side of a busy street, meaning you may have to drag your suitcases a fair distance and negotiate the traffic. Breakfast was hit and miss depending on the time you arrived - hot one day but not the other and fresh fruit offerings were surprisingly poor given the proximity of the hotels to markets.

I enjoyed my stay at the AC Hotel Melbourne, friendly & helpful staff, excellent cleanliness, I will most certainly stay here again when working in the area, and will highly recommend to others :-)

Contemporary and clean.

Room was OK, nothing fancy. AC did not work, when advised on check out we were advised that they are 'sorry' and will look into it, no compensation offered. Room service was poor - offered just a toasted sandwich, no meat as they ' ran out'. Pool is small, there were 22 people in there when we got there which was hardly room to move, we opted not to stay and enjoy the pool (that we paid for) interestingly there is a sign that marks capacity as 44 - no idea where they would all fit. Would I book again, no

Check in was fast and helpful however bed was quite uncomfortable and some of the food we ordered at the pool was quite expensive for what was given (we received three little crackers on our cheese board) breakfast options were good however a lot of the things we got were cold (bacon etc). We decided to stay here to relax by the pool and stay the entire time at the hotel to use facilities etc and it just missed the mark a bit unfortunately.
