We stayed here for one night on a Sunday and it definitely met the expectations for the price range. Beforehand I had requested anything complementary as it was our anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised that we were granted an upgrade to a junior suite on the top floor, however bare in mind it was a Sunday and not very busy. They kindly decorated the room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Overall, a very peaceful stay for both of us, helped by the lovely staff and topped off by a lovely breakfast. The main attraction was definitely the pool

The bedding on the children’s sofa bed was too small to cover it and only one pillow provided for two children. Housekeeping were asked via the front desk for more but none arrived. The cleanliness of the room was also overall poor

The hotel was well equipped, clean and ideally located with it being a short drive to central Cambridge and also Newmarket. There are numerous public transport facilities with it being located right next to a train station with convenient connections to london and the north. The hotel is situated in a quiet modernised area and the parking is safe and in plentiful availability. The parking is operated by an external provider and can be a faff as there are no physical paystations, with payment being processed via a QR code link or the use of an App, which can be off putting for some older or less tech-savvy guests. However, aside from that, the hotel was lovely, breakfast was delicious with a wide array of options and I would happily return and highly recommend others to stay here. If I was to suggest anything, I would say that the swimming pool changing rooms could benefit from more space and benches in order to sit and get dressed, as well as providing bags for wet clothing or instead having a mini tumble dryer for wet items as is the case in some other hotels.

Misleading Information on parking, car park in front of hotel is reserved for disabled people only, guests without a blue badge have to travel and park at a paid car park away from the hotel

Great hotel outside Cambridge. Bus stop is next to the hotel, every 20 minutes and it only takes 15 minutes to get in the centre of Cambridge. Payable car park next to the hotel.

The staff were A+ , so helpful friendly and lovely, nothing was a problem at all. Even when they are rushed off their feet and dealing with multiple problems. Rooms comfy, breakfast nice. Swimming pool use is a bit clunky having to go back to reception each time for access, but facilities were excellent. Parking slightly complicated.

Check in time is 3 but staff did not have rooms prepared till 4.45! However, hotel is clean.

This hotel is next to the Cambridge North train station. Really convenient to not have to walk far with luggage. Train was easy into Cambridge, and bus stops were also conveniently close to hotel. Pool is small (no more than 20 people) I didn't look at the gym facilities. The breakfast was adequate, my opinion is that the breakfast wasn't good value for money, but there are no obvious choices for other places to eat close to hotel. My room had a great shower, and excellent air conditioning which were my main priorities on a super-heated bank holiday weekend.

Beautiful hotel , spotless and gorgeous rooms. It felt like the whole team was very disjointed - I’m not sure if it’s a new team and there isn’t enough of them or they just aren’t working well to make service flow. Not the usual 5* Novotel standard of customer service which is a shame because it really is a lovely hotel. Breakfast was great as always , again not enough staff to make it flow but the ones that were trying to get people seated were working hard just a crazy amount of used dirty tables not being cleared - I mean management must know it’s going to be busy if the hotel is busy. These details make me want to not go back. This could easily be a premium hotel with a bit more staff training and more staff.

Didnt really get chance to use the pool or facilities like sauna and stuff TV was just too loud and would not go down in volume or anything pay a extra £10 fee for a double bed instead of the two single beds and the double bed was not even a full bed it was like a small standard double bed, Little bit of a expensive for a single one night stay there and the double bed in stead of two beds for the other fee was not worth it,

The hotel was modern, clean and had a lovely feel about it, helped by a friendly, warm welcome from the staff. My standard queen room was a good size and well-equipped. I used the gym and pool and was happy with that too. My room overlooked the train station, but despite that it was really quiet, and I appreciated how easy it was to get the train into central Cambridge. I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again.
