We stayed for 6 nights and had the best experience in town to walking distance and door steps to every Pub in town

Loved it! Cute town and lovely breakfast. Nice restaurant at the neck back Pecks and casual pub food at the front. On small thing service was slow in the pub food and breakfast. Seems understaffed! Eveything else was great.

This is one of my favourite hotels, it is unique, has electric charging, parking and every room is different. The staff are lovely. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant stay in a well maintained, very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Food quality and service was good.

The room was well appointed and extreemly comfortable,staff were very friendly and attentive.Breakfast was very filling though service was a bit slow.Parking was easy and convenient

Nice place! I spend my working week and hotels and rarely take the time to review. This one, I’ve made the effort. Nice staff, lovely food, and a wonderfully welcoming room. Lovely bath, plenty of hot water, and to top it off a great breakfast. Will return when working in the area.

The room had everything I needed, was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!

We had a nice stay at the Lion & Swan until the last morning when we came down for breakfast and there was only 1 staff member dealing in taking order, it took over an hour for her just to take our order for coffee/tea, so we give up on ordering breakfast and left the restaurant, it was not the staff member taking orders was not at fault but extremely bad management on not covering enough staff for the weekend wwith the hotel fully booked and 2 weddings being held over the weekend. The manager who was on duty did not help or even acknowledge the people in the restaurant who was waiting so long for their breakfast without even a apology. The manager should be retrained or dismissed due to the lack of professional service provided. Our room was good but the hotel needs to find a better way to open the velux window and blind rather than a pole which is very dangerous, all so the noise with people taking when coming out of the function room into the car park waiting for taxis

Everything was absolutely perfect! Parking was super easy and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend to stay at this property again.😁

We stayed here on a Saturday evening . Our luxury double room was lovely with coffee machine and roll top bath. The hotel is great if you want to stay in one place , we used the sports bar for an afternoon of shuttle board and the bar was also lovely for a snack and breakfast. My only regret is that we didn’t eat in the restaurant which could be better encouraged with a resident rate for guests . The staff were lovely and friendly throughout

Breakfast was exceptional

Beautiful hotel. Stayed one night but wanted more. The staff were great. Thanks Oscar for looking after us. Room is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was worth it.
