We stayed 6 nights at Kali Centro and I was happy with our decision. The Hotel was very easy to find. It is located between the Salto de Agua and Balderas Metro 1 stops…and is a 6 minute walk to either of them. It is also about a 10 minute walk to Bellas Artes or China Town. The Hotel is clean with modern updates. The check in was easy and every employee we came in contact with was very nice and helpful. We were on the 4th floor and our room was very quiet. The mattress was on the firm side but was comfortable. I have to mention that the elevator broke 1 day but was quickly fixed. The Breakfast for me was a highlight and had plenty of options and was fresh and replenished throughout the morning so you don’t have to worry about being the first one when they open in the morning, haha. There is a small restaurant in the lobby with good food and beverage options for a quick meal or casual drink. They provide a bottle of water for each person per day which i appreciated. They also have a filtered water station in the lobby where you can fill your own water bottle. Our floor also had a filtered hot water dispenser. I’ve read reviews about the internet but we didn’t have any problems with our phones. There is a nice seating area on each floor that offers a stronger WiFi connection if needed. There’s also a large quiet seating area adjacent to the dining room. When we return to Mexico City again we’ll definitely stay at Kali Centro. It is budget friendly but without compromises. 👍

I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk staff. The woman assisting us was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. What made the situation worse was an inappropriate comment she made implying that we didn’t have the money to pay. That kind of assumption is not only disrespectful, but completely unacceptable in any customer service setting. There was no reason for us to be treated that way, and it made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating. Front desk staff are the first impression of a business, and this interaction reflected very poorly on the establishment. I hope management addresses this issue seriously, because no customer should be made to feel judged or disrespected like that.

Es un hotel muy céntrico, limpio, personal fenomenal con un buen desayuno. Siempre muy atentos a cada detalle. A mi familia y mi nos encantó.

The area is very close to subway stops and it is an easy walk to Historic Centro. Chinatown is also close by and that is a very interesting place to visit. While there are many auto parts shops that are open during the day, this part of Luis Moya can seem a bit deserted in the evening, night time, however it is very safe to walk around the neighbourhood.

Poor customer service. They didn’t want to honor the free drinks given. They complain about noise during the day. Keys kept getting deactivated during stay. The breakfast staff was rude and kept confusing guests and interrupting breakfast with family and friends making it seem like we had already ate when we were just arriving. We only ate twice due to poor breakfast options.
