Modern hotel with lovely spa. Only criticism is that there was a really loud musical performance going on in one of the function rooms (singer and guitar) which filtered through to the restaurant mixing with the background music. Easily solved if doors were closed.

The room was lovely, though it would have been great to have a mini fridge. Other than that, it was fantastic! The breakfast was also very nice

I loved this hotel and found it beautiful and clean. Extremely safe to stay on my own and ideal location for shopping and the stadium. Brilliant choice for breakfast which could be hotter though. All staff were really lovely and polite.

Really great welcome at reception and lovely rooms

Absolutely beautiful property that we thoroughly enjoyed during our three-day stay. The location is ideal—right in the center of town and within easy walking distance of most major attractions and many excellent restaurants. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We had rented a car while visiting the UK to explore Wales, and because there was no convenient place directly in front of the hotel to unload our luggage, the staff graciously came across the street to help carry our bags to our room. Aside from this minor inconvenience, our stay was outstanding. This is a wonderful place to stay, and we would not hesitate to return.

Love our stay! Very helpful staff, exceptional room with plenty of room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We exceptionally enjoyed the dinner at the Sorting Room. Excellent wait staff and delicious food. Our only complaint was the background music was not suitable for fine dining. Better for clubbing!!

Yes, the breakfast was very good and the staff super helpful. The same applies to when we checked in and had dinner. We had actually booked for 3 beeks ago through a 3rd party and had to cancel due to illness. The 3rd party were very unhelpful and did not want to allow us to rearrange but the staff at Parkgate did all they could to allow us to arrange an alternative date which we were very appreciative of. Mo was our waiter at dinner.

A great hotel with very nice and helpful friendly stuff. The only problem: a tiny spa, which barely fits a few people and you need to book in advance. That was a huge disappointment.

Staff were helpful and friendly! The location is the best! Easy to see all the sites and we were able to walk to everything. Breakfast was excellent and the Hotel is a 5 min walk to the Train Station!

I checked in after a delayed train journey from London into an oasis of calm …❤️ I was given a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was fabulous… my room was so comfy luxurious and clean. Great selection of tea coffee and other complementary beverages plus alternative milk which I needed ❤️can’t wait to return next month… thank you
