The room was clean and house keeping cleaned my room really well. The hotel is near and walking distance to the Caribbean sprinter and known restaurants. It’s next to a casino so it can be loud all night long during the weekends. It’s right across the street from a convenience store. My refrigerator did not work and charged $25 for one hour late check out. No shuttle services so make plans. As a solo traveler I felt safe which is most important.

The property is perfectly situated. Walking distance to everything. There's a store next door which was convenient. They are very strict with their check-in time which was not so nice. We were visiting for an event a little earlier check-in would have allowed us to get ready for the event we were visiting the island. The shower, we couldn't get the hot to work (could be an us issue but just couldn't) and the water doesn't drain normal, it builds up and take quite a while to drain. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay. I love convenience and felt it was a little lacking.

Overall, my stay at the Voyager Sun Reef Hotel in San Pedro, Belize fell short of expectations in several ways. ## Expectations vs. Reality The photos on the hotel's website are significantly better than the reality you'll encounter upon arrival. This discrepancy between marketing materials and the actual property was one of the most disappointing aspects of my stay. ## Noise Levels Despite previous reviews mentioning the quiet atmosphere, I found the external noise levels to be noticeable and disruptive. This contradicted what I had read in other reviews, which had influenced my booking decision. ## Staff Interactions While the staff was generally welcoming, I experienced an uncomfortable situation regarding visitors. When I had a friend come to my room, a staff member approached me in what felt like a non-chalant manner to remind me of the hotel's policy prohibiting non-guests. The interaction was handled poorly and left me feeling embarrassed in front of my friend. The staff could benefit from training on how to enforce policies with more tact and discretion, perhaps by addressing such matters privately rather than creating potentially uncomfortable situations for guests.

Smell of sewer, bathroom needs a little renovation starting with changing the old faucets. After pay that much, I could not even use the towels provided. The management can do better by reinvesting some of the money they make.

Property staff friendly, rooms had condensation from the air conditioner daily. Floors slippery and had to ask for toilet paper daily. Overall cool stay no real issues

Simple-not fancy- 2 blocks from beach in fun part of town, you should expect noisy nights but my nice new air conditioner fan made it so I could hardly hear all the noise outside

Very rude front desk staff. Room wasn’t cleaned two of the three nights I was there. Great location but the guy who acts like he runs the place is extremely rude.

El personal es muy amable y servicial. La propiedad está en una zona no tan bonita a pesar de parecer lo contrario por el parque central en frente. Está descuidado y lamentablemente tiene pésima ventilación, huele a humedad.
