We loved this hotel on Isabela Island! It was so close to a beautiful beach without paying beachfront prices. The staff members were so friendly, helpful, professional, thoughtful, and available. They recommended a particular tour company, which worked out perfectly. They communicated well about breakfast times and checkout options. The property is a block from the beach, a block from the flamingo lagoon, a few short blocks from the pier, and right by the best restaurants! The room we stayed in was large, comfortable, and stocked with shower needs. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of outlets. There was a faucet outside for rinsing off after being on the beach. They refreshed our linens and towels every day and provided fresh beach towels each time we went out. They provided drinking water for refilling our water bottles. The continental breakfast is included and delicious, and the cook made us eggs and other hot foods every morning. The vibes here are so relaxed, helpful, and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel for individuals, couples, and families! It was a wonderful stay. We also recommend the Los Tuneles tour while you are here!

Amazing place to stay. Breakfast was amazing, tailored for our vegetarian needs. Service was so friendly and shower water pressure was incredible. Would stay again!

Shower does not drain, mold in shower. Insects and water in room due to poor windows. Wifi was poor but the staff fixed that, the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful when you can find them.

Nice staff. Decent cooked breakfast. Clean. We reserved late and the scrambled to get a room ready with PERFECT view of ocean. Good location.

They “upgraded” us to their beachfront property down the road which was nice - upon arrival we paid & they ended up charging one card and pre authorizing another card, when then they also charged - so we’ve double paid & been over a week and haven’t got our money back. So pay on Expedia before if you can because they don’t seem to know how to work their machines.

Sophia was a great hostess! The ocean view was spectacular. Hotel Volcan is a nice place to stay with great beds.

We were greeted with a welcome drink and lovely service. The staff was kind, helpful whenever we needed them, and welcoming. A very peaceful island! We could hear the ocean waves from our room

Very clean hotel, spacious rooms, decent bathrooms with shower. Our rooms on the third floor overlooked street below and had great view of the ocean. There is a nice common patio on the second floor. Made-to-order breakfast was included. In center of town, near all tour meeting spots, restaurants etc. Good value.

Hotel Volcano is in a great location close to shopping, food, and the beach. We had a lovely stay here and the included breakfast was great. We had some difficulty booking from outside the country though. Even through I booked through hotels.com, they made me call and pay with my card by phone which I didn’t feel comfortable with. In the end everything worked out but I booked through hotels.com to avoid putting my card info out there.

The hotel was cloae to everything. They do a good job of keeping everything very clean. It was a good deal and nice to have the pool to relax by.

Great stay and friendly staff however I did have one hiccup. I got the correct charge on my credit card for three nights, but also have an extra $60 charge that I don’t.understand where it came from. Tried contacting them via email and have not heard back.

This is a very nice hotel which is conveniently located to restaurants and shops as while as the beach. The air conditioning was a plus for very hot days, but the windows and beach views were wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Receptionist, Elizabeth, was amazing. They offered cool towels & juice upon arrival. Room was very clean, quiet, good a/c. Free breakfast included everyday, they even packed a to-go breakfast on our last day as we left before breakfast started. Good location within walking distance to everything.
