Excellent place to stay with free parking outside and only a ten minute walk onto the seafront. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We had a double room which was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Scarborough.

We had a wonderful experience at The Mansion House. Set in a quiet location within walking distance of the cliff lift and with free on road parking it has gorgeous views over the bay. We received a very welcome complimentary drink on arrival and loved the large spacious room. Even with all 3 beds made up there was plenty of space for our group. Plenty of fluffy towels and a powerful shower! We made use of the lovely communal lounge and honesty bar and especially loved that there was an actual newspaper available to read! Beds very comfortable with crisp sheets, we all slept really well! Breakfast was lovely, nice choice of juices, cereals, yoghurts fruit and pastries and a hot breakfast made fresh to order! The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor but is light and bright and we were still able to enjoy the morning sunshine while we took our time to enjoy the plentiful coffee. We loved all the homely touches and looking at all the photos on the walls, my son I. Particular loved all the airplane and red arrow pics! There’s a huge wall of info on places to eat, takeaway options and menus and they also have an in dining menu too. We definitely recommend and will return. Thank you!

Stayed in an apartment with my husband and 2 kids. The place was spotless and very spacious and comfortable. The view of the sea was perfect and we also had breakfast. The breakfast was of a very standard.

This is one of the best property in all scarborough i can say beautiful best location great host Clean love that i will recommend people who ever is going to visit Scarborough they should be stay here highly recommended

When I booked the room I didn’t realise that it was up six flights of stairs. I have a heart condition - so it was an effort (although there was a chair for me to sit on half way up. The shower room was tiny - so not much room for toiletries etc but I was a travelling solo. I had to lower the welcome tray as it was placed too high for me to reach the kettle (it was placed on top of a chest of drawers and I was cautious about pouring boiling water). The view from the window was fabulous but I think there should have been a blind to protect eyes from the morning sun. The sun was so bright I was totally taken unaware on the first morning. The breakfast and service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I did enjoy the stay and have learned a lot from my stay regarding stairs and what to be aware of when booking further accommodation.

Very well appointed - Elegantly (and expensively) furnished - big comfortable bed - tough stairs but fully compensated by the spectacular view from upper floors - friendly and helpful hosts - perfect place to wind down after hard day watching cricket!

Daughter and I stayed for a night whilst attending a concert and we could not have hoped for a better hotel. The personal service and attention to detail, catering for all additional needs, was superb. Breakfast included huge choice of continental and freshly cooked to order food. Particularly recommend the smoked salmon and eggs. We would highly recommend and will return when we are next in Scarborough FYI it’s a dog friendly hotel too!

Stayed for two nights and couldn’t sleep either due to heat in room. Mild weather 24 all day but room so hot on top floor impossible to get quality sleep. Shower controls also either faulty or effected by neighbouring rooms with temperature constantly changing for no reason. Good location and potential to be very good
