I loved this hotel. It had breakfast, included, good food and great staff! Receptionist even brought my suitcase to my room and it had an elevator!

A single no frills room, compact with large shower room. No fridge, safety box or closet. Wonderful breakfast. Very convenient, close to the beach, the park, and public transport.

Booked this hotel based on the previous reviews, however we were very disappointed. The room was very grim and had a horrible smell. To be quite honest it was the worst room we have stayed in for years. The hotels only saving grace was the lovely breakfast Ostend is very nice but it is very expensive to park (€25 overnight) Probably we were unfortunate with which room we were allocated but it was nothing like the photos shown on their website.

Room was really small, but as a solo traveler, I cant really complain. It had all the amenities I needed. The hotel is conveniently located to the city center and the beach. The staff was exceptionally excellent, friendly and willing to take the time to offer recommendations.

It was an alright stay, and the location is fabulous - the only thing I will mention is that the 'fitness centre' has only two machines both of which were broken :(

Hi we booked this hotel for 4 nights over the Christmas period but unfortunately needed to go home early after the first night as our 14 month old baby was ill. Basically good location- extortionate parking costs though so factor this in. Hotel itself very dated. Carpets in bedroom dirty and didn’t feel comfortable with crawling, walking baby on them. Bed mattress and pillows incredibly uncomfortable. Four poster ‘curtains’ so dusty I couldn’t sleep without my inhaler. Bathroom ridiculously tiny. Toilet squashed up against the bath. Bath mouldy around the edges. Breakfast-average. One member of staff lovely but management really unempathic about our ill daughter and insisted on charging us for the next night despite us giving notice at 8.00am. He insisted that we check out by 3.00pm so obviously double charged that room for the night st our expense. Not the nicest especially on Christmas Day. Would definitely not recommend this hotel to families and won’t return ourselves.

Oozes character and style, lovely, friendly, helpful guys on reception. Buffet breakfast was amazing, so very beautifully presented and a huge selection to choose from, coffee was very nice too. We wanted to extend our stay but they were full, that says it all. To quote Arnold, "we'll be back".

Cozy hotel. Sound insulation could be better but the neighbors were quiet. Breakfast, wifi were good.

Overall, a very nice stay, reasonably priced. The parking garage is a bit of a challenge to find.

Nice and enjoyable stay as usual, we always say stay at De Hofkamers when in Ostend. Most friendly staff, clean and comfortable four poster bed at a most convenient location a stone throw from the beach. Delicious champagne breakfast not to be missed!

I stayed 9 nights and all the staff were really pleasant and couldn't do enough for me. The room was on the small side (it was a single room though so should be expected), very clean and the bathroom modern. It is central to everything and a short walk to the beach.

The best thing about this hotel, was the great level of personal service for whatever question or issue you might have. The hotel is not perfect, but then what hotel or home is, the most important things you require of a hotel are all there and these are of a very good quality. I would single out the staff member who was there every morning as we all came down for breakfast; her smile was unfailing and her desire to meet our needs was undiminished even at the end of a long service. That's what you need from a hotel not all the other rubbish that people tend to spend hours complaining about in as many websites they can find.

My family and I love this hotel, this was our 7th visit. The hotel is near to all of Oostends amenities, easy to walk to the beach, train station, shops, market, cafés and bars? The breakfast is very good, and the staff are very friendly. With A good payable parking system. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Looking forward to our extended family break at this hotel next year.
