Service was excellent, super helpful and very friendly. Nice and easy to chat to and lots of great information. Room is small and basic, quite old decor, but bathroom is super modern and fresh. Great location and walkable, excellent stay overall.

The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the hotel has plenty of character. The complimentary breakfast was always very well stocked and there was a surprising choice of cereals, breads, pastries and fruits. The location of the hotel is excellent - a stone's throw from the main square and walkable distance from most of the tourist attractions. We can't recommend Boterhuis Hotel highly enough :-)

This hotel is close to everything, as a solo traveler, I felt safe and welcomed.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were all amazing and kind, providing great local suggestions in the area. The room was comfortable and clean- all beds were great in the triple room. The breakfast was delicious.

Really nice spacious room. Huge bathroom however they could have had a mat in tub, was very slippery. Breakfast included and was great, great location.

Great location. Pet Friendly. Fabulous Room, good breakfast and excellent receptionist who checked us in Monday pm and was even working breakfast shift yesterday before we left. Apologies for our dog nervously barking at you in the morning.

Great location. It was lovely. Unique. Spacious and fun. Our receptionist was fantastic. I think she felt sorry for us having to carry our luggage up two flights, so she did it! She could not have been more helpful with information and suggestions (in additon to worrying about us with the luggage). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel in our 16 day trip. Nothing here has quality. I had to rate one star and it is because of its location, because it was top notch location, but that’s it. Literally I don’t know how this hotel has 4.3 stars in google maps. Don’t fall for it, nor for the pictures. It’s not accurate at all. There’s a man in the reception who made us feel less than welcome, it was an awkward and weird situation, check in was like 15 minutes long because he was not even there and then it came with and awkward conversation that was more like a scold. Got to our room and it was old, but not in a nice, cozy, charming way. It was outdated, the bed felt old and there were only two cheap pillows for a king size bed (2 single beds together). In the bathroom there were no tissues, and toilet paper was that yellowish cheap one, and rough. The “shampoo/soap/bodywash” came in a plastic bag, which could say a lot about this “hotel”. This place sells itself as a boutique hotel or something similar, but there’s nothing “boutique” about it in any space of the hotel whatsoever. There are plenty of options in beautiful Bruges, no need to stay here ever again.
