Big rooms, kind staff

The room was warm, it was better after they gave us a fan. As most hotels in Scandinavia they do not have AC.

The view from room 801 was beautiful. I got some nice photos of sunsets and interesting cloud formations along with city views. I liked that the shower was separated from the toilet and sink. Nice touch with a towel warming rack in the shower room. The breakfast was the best so fare in a month’s travel in Sweden. Found a very nice restaurant called Akropolis a short walk from the hotel. The food was so good I went there every night of my stay. The hotel is in close proximity to an inland lake with a nice path. Great for getting some fresh air and exercise. I will definitely choose this hotel when I come back to Nässjö.

Great location and friendly staff

We were visiting relatives and it was close to them and the areas we wanted to visit. Staff was exceptionally helpful. We do not speak Swedish however they were very informative and helped with any need or questions we had. Thank you.

I loved the breakfast buffet and room decor

We have stayed here a couple of times when passing through and the hotel always provides good service and is kept clean. It is a typical swedish small town central hotel that has been around for many years. Some parts are modern and some have more of retro feel to them. Everything is kept in good order and guests are a good mix of different people.

Wellness area was worn out. The gym had broken machines, hope they fix it soon

Nice central location Hotel. Good breakfast though Dinner is quite expensive.

The hotel is old but well maintained/managed and fresh. Free parking at the back. Small clean room, two comfortable twin beds pushed together posing as a double bed, wafer thin walls (you could hear normal conversation in neighbouring room). Good breakfast and fast check in/out. Across the street is an excellent café Thimon serving beautiful cakes - go there.

Good service at the reception, when I arrived as well as guidance to parking etc. I got a large spacious room, which was nice and clean.

Hotel is ok and in the centre of town. If you book a single room you get a single room ! Restaurant and bar is closed on Sunday evening. Good choice of food at breakfast.

It's the only hotel around. Great breakfast! Nice staff! We had a hot spell in Sweden so needed the windows open and the square outside is loud, all night. So if it will be summer, maybe ask for a room that over looks the train station, I don't know if it will be quieter, but worth a try.

The room was not clean. Hair in the shower and bathroom. Not fresh at all. The room was cold. I pointed this out to the receptionist. She did not even apologize. No social skills at all. My second night I could not sleep much because of other guests being drunk and making a lot of noise. There was a disco downstairs and even though I was on the 9th floor, I could not sleep. When I gave this as feed back when checking out, there was no attempt at all to make it up to me. She just said that she knew who was making the noise and they would deal with it. Makes no difference to me at all. A professional hotel had offered me a discount or something, but this place has no clue what service is all about. Next time I am in the area, I will stay in Jönköping instead. If I had been offered some kind of restitution I would not have written this very negative comment, The fact that nothing was done at all tells me that a negative review is well deserved.
