Very pleasant stay at Ginette’s home. Room had every comfort: very comfortable beds,coffee and tea, water dispenserjust outside our room ,plenty of towels. Shared bathroom that was very clean with all amenities. We enjoyed our stay. Although breakfast was supposedly part of the deal we were told no breakfast and directed to the Tim Hortons and that was fine with us.

It is important to know that at this site you are living in a home and sharing a bathroom. Ginette was very accommodating with our late arrival.

The place is very well located, confortable, clean. Ginette, our host was fantastic and the breakfast delicious with a lot of food to choose. We really enjoy our stay in Ginette’s place.

We stayed in a basement suite with two bedrooms with double beds plus a pullout couch. I am a princess sleeper and found that, although the mattresses on the two beds were too firm for me, the pullout couch was quite comfortable. The others found the beds fine. So it worked well for all three of us. I loved having a larger space for us to eat takeout meals and make breakfast in the morning before heading out hiking at Gaspesie. Ginette was so nice; we arrived late due to a mix-up with the ferry and we’re able to get into our suite still. There is a really nice view of sunsets from the property and it is convenient to walk to restaurants. I wish we had stayed longer here!

It was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic.

Nice friendly hosts. Room with bath very small. No where to sit in room, needed to share living room with family....that was very pleasant however.

The house and the owner were both wonderful. The only hiccup was upon departure we were asked to pay cash for our room, which we thought had been charged to our credit card when we had booked our room. I showed the owner our confirmation from hotels.com indicating the room charge had been charged to our credit card, but since she insisted that was not the case we paid for the room in cash hoping that we would not see this charge on our credit card bill. We prefer paying by credit card and not carrying a lot of cash when we travel, so fortunately the amount wasn't too much to deplete all of our cash. However, this could be a potential problem if we hadn't exchanged sufficient Canadian dollars, so beware. Hotels.com or the hotel should disclose that this is a cash-only property and that our credit card information was merely to hold the room to prevent this kind of surprise at the end.

Very good for the night we stayed

Host made us feel at home. Convenient location just a block up from the waterfront. Found a fun restaurant for dinner within walking distance. Great breakfast.

The room was small but very clean. We speak no French, so communication by phone to set up a possible late arrival was challenging but finally accomplished. Once arrived, communication was OK through the owner's use of a computer translation program. Breakfast was excellent.
