Clean room, nice staff, quiet, comfortable bed

I had a great stay at the Saxony Motel. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made it comfortable and relaxing after a long day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. It’s also a great option for business travel—quiet, convenient, and easy to get in and out of. Parking was simple and hassle-free, with plenty of space available right near the rooms. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, business-friendly place with excellent service. I’d definitely stay here again.

This motel was old-school - it was a bit worn around the edges, but perfectly functional as a one-night, mid-road trip break.

Basic place to stay for a very good price point. It was all Vinyl plank and tile floors in our room so it was clean, with no grungy carpets. The lady at the counter was very nice. The Portuguese Steak House next door was phenomenal! Room was large, 2 queen beds. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron available in room. Would use this location again for sure. ****/5

the room was very spacious and was well looked after. the staff where very approachable and friendly. I would recommend staying at the Saxony if you ever venter to the town of Chatham.

We ended up checking out 5 hours after we got there. No deadbolt on suite door. Had a door for an adjoining room that locks from our side...meaning someone on the other side could just walk in if it was unlocked and staff wouldnt tell us if it was locked or not. Sketchy area. Were bothered by other guests, possibly a motel that also rents out weekly/monthly? Felt very unsafe. Staff coucldnt care less. When we were checki g out at 1030 at night, i said "are you curious why we are leaving already?" And staff said "not at all". Horrible.

The breakfast area had three small tables in a small room. The breakfast options were very limited. The bed and pillows were comfy, and the room was quiet. The lighting was dated, dim and the bathroom switch controlled the shower room, a separate sink area and the loud exhaust fan came on with both lights. A second lock on the door would be beneficial. Staff was friendly and polite.

Very tired, run-down older motel. Not many options in town and prices are more expensive than big cities.

The toilet was not even fastened to the floor. Probably for a long time. If it was ever cleaned they would have noticed immediately. Dangerous!

The motel itself is pretty good. Get what you pay for. The front desk check in staff are awesome! The different clusters of guys out on the balcony and walk ways, leave a little bit to be desired. Beds are uncomfortable however. Room very clean. No major issues other than the beds really are not comfortable.
