This is an absolute gem of a place! I was here for a quick 3 day solo ski trip and could not have made a better choice to stay here. The owners and staff are fantastic and super helpful in figuring out how to maximize your trip and navigate the different mountains across Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis. The hotel is conveniently located near the Milez Flyer lift and ski rental shop at Dieni (15 minute walk in regular shoes, 5 minute bus ride with your gear). The bus stop is literally right in front of the hotel. So you are basically slopeside for less than half the cost of the cheapest hotel in Andermatt. If you must go to Andermatt, you can take a 50 minute train, or get there skiing in an hour using a series of 4 lifts. The room was clean and very comfortable and I had good sleep every night. They have a ski gear storage area with lockers. The ski boot driers are a nice touch as well. There is a nice cozy lounge area where you can play games, read, or socialize. I had some great conversations with the owner there. I left every morning with a hearty breakfast in me that tided me well into the afternoon. The dinner and drinks were excellent as well, both taste and presentation matching the pride the staff took in their offerings. Enough cannot be said about how awesome the owners and staff are. If I were to come back to this region to ski again, no question I would stay here.

Impressive mountain views and closeness to the train station

Stayed here as a group of road trippers, and the staff/owners were amazing. Very welcoming. Great service and a chilled atmosphere. Will definitely be back for subsequent years.

Only downsides were a lack of fridge and hot drink facilities in the room. Hotel was brilliant, staff first rate, friendly and knowledgeable. Bike storage and car charging available. Restaurant in the hotel top notch. Would highly recommend!

The hotel is well located. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not many amenities around property, shops bars etc, but very similar situation to a lot of the area. If intending on staying in this area would highly recommend.

Staff very nice and friendly, we had an issue with our room, which was discussed promptly and a small discount added for the inconvinence which was the right thing to do so resolved the matter.

Very quiet, great views. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of hiking and trails but not much else.

UNBELIEVABLE great experience. Really nice hotel with exceptional clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel is located in a beautiful valley with nice room or balcony views - depending on your room selection. Breakfast is buffer style with many choices, frim the traditional Swiss cheese to large selection of meets and drinks. The owners are always on the property and went out of their way to make our stay great. Extremely helpful, always with a smile. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The location was great- close to the train station and also to the ski area. The room was clean, breakfast was wonderful, and they we’re incredibly helpful and kind! This is actually closer to the ski lift than the town of Sedrun (you go from sedrun through Rueras to get to the Sedrun ski area). There is a rental shop literally directly across from the lift.

We felt like family. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Superb hospitality.

Mountain Lodge was exactly what we were looking for in a Swiss ski trip. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We loved the "hang out" room in the back after a long day on the slopes.

Everything was great: hospitality, service, the food was delicious and the owner and his wife are the best hosts one could expect. The only improvement I would recommend are the mattresses. In a double bed if one moves you feel you are being thrown out of bed!

Fantastic hotel ran by 2 really nice people. Room was really clean and comfy with amazing views. Dinner was excellent burgers are fantastic! Breakfast was good too. It was my sons 12th birthday which I mentioned in a email 4 weeks before we stayed. And they brought a little cake out for him.. would definitely stay again fully recommend!
