Staff went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. It is a beautiful location in the mountains, and the pool is great with gorgeous view of the sea. However, be aware the property lacks amenities. We arrived at 4pm very hungry and were told the kitchen was closed until 7pm and there is no place to purchase any sort of snacks or food outside of restaurant service and they could do nothing for us except to say sorry. Hotel room is clean and spacious with a great bed, but no safe in the room, no deadbolt lock on the door, no telephone in room, one small roll of toilet paper that was never replaced by maid service, tv was unusable. It feels that this hotel has much promise, with an incredible staff and new construction happening, but is a small operation and not fully modern and prepared for influx of tourists. Be aware that it is impossible to walk from the hotel to anywhere - car is necessary to go anywhere. Good option to stay in a quiet area while going to Dhermi for the day, but lacks infrastructure and modern amenities or convenience.

The Amare Hotel was our favorite stay of our 2-week trip. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The breakfast that is included was delicious and had a wide variety. We had 2 dinners at the hotel and they were also excellent. We would book again without hesitation.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting high on a bluff overlooking the sea. Modern, clean and very comfortable room. I had two good meals in the hotel restaurant with excellent service from Aldo. He also makes a great Negroni. Highly recommended

Lovely hotel friendly staff and manager awesome brekkie could be a little less donut and more savoury options . Lots of yellow jackets fly around Only for people with a car as situated far up the mountain and far from any means of travel around unless you have a car . Otherwise awesome place

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Views are amazing. Food is simple but tasty, location is high up the hill so views are brilliant. Quiet and an awesome place to relax

Great hotel, fantastic staff, they will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable…we knew this before hand but you will need a car or a driver, nothing is walkable. The beach was amazing and gjipe beach is a must

We stayed for 4 nights, the check-in service was excellent. The dining service was strange, one evening our main meals came out separately about 15 minutes apart, as there was 7 of us, it took around 1.5 hours for all the food to come out. We ended up having to eat lunch there again due to bad weather, we had to insist on all of our food being brought out together which they did manage to do. We were slightly put off and didn’t want to eat there again. Also asking for pool towels for example, I was questioned as 4 had been given but we were a party of 7. It’s very remote, you need a car, can’t walk anywhere really in the heat. Lovely setting in the pool/cabanas.

we enjoyed our stay. the staff was very hospitable and the rooms were clean and cozy. Having an onsite taxi driver was a huge plus, very convenient.

Loved this hotel and will definitely be back again. As a solo female traveller i was made to feel safe and the staff at the hotel went over and above to assist me with everything. Particularly in respect of linking my taxi up in time for the bus in dhermi. The hotel owner and bar staff cannot do enough for you. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with stunning views. Drinks a little on the pricy side but that is the only negative. Will definitely be back again.

Beautiful location in the mountains overlooking the ocean. The hotel is new and modern. You need a car to stay there, as it is a short drive from the beaches and restaurants. The hotel has its own pool and its own restaurant. The area is quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The view is fantastic, no doubt. Nice pool and otdoor area. Disappointed by the room, which had extensive water damage and a poorly cleaned bathroom with a smell to it.
