It’s walking distance to Victoria park. Breakfast is pretty good.

perhaps I am not a bed and breakfast person... first I was greeted by a 10 year old girl did not sit well with me. she showed a break room where we can have a cup of coffee. there was no hot water makers.. not cream and other items.. just a jar of instant coffee and then the old vintage setup isn't for me.. the room I stayed as Rose Room where from the bathroom there was a door to an open balcony... the set up was weird. I looked for locks . did not feel safe at all. may be Niagara is not a high crime place still as a visitor I did not feel safe. then there was a window that was open about an inch.. I tried closing only to discover there is no way I can lock and secure. that window was facing the road side.. a suggestion to keep a Microwave oven accessible to all guests.. would have answered a lot of questions most rooms had cockroach catching boxes . that did not make me feel comfortable. also leaving the front door open through the night did not sit well fore as well. I had anxiety... due to these items. the play still may be good for others.. but I am not going to choose B&B anymore.. just one experience and I am done

We were not impressed with our stay at Chestnut inn. While it seemed like a good idea to stay in a small private place instead of a big hotel, it turned out to be a disappointment. On the positive side, the living and dining rooms look nice and the host tried to be helpful. On the negative side, tv was not working. Shared kitchen that is mentioned in the ad is not existent. Washroom requires an urgent repair as it was super inconvenient and looked old and not maintained. Likely, we stayed only one night and could skip a shower. I will not be coming back and would not recommend the place.

It’s a lovely home in a convenient location. The rooms were great and we particularly enjoyed the balconies. The staff were helpful and the onsite parking was good to have. However, the property needs a bit better upkeep but overall we were happy with our stay.

Good location. Very quiet but walkable distance to town centre. The host is very nice, offers good breakfast. The house is historic and has its own charm and stories.

Parking was horrible make sure you look at different parking lot near by before you come in case there's no spots left

From the perspective of 2 seniors, the Loft required far too many stairs, so they should have posted an "Accessibility Advisor". The view was great, however the electrical was highly outdated. A telltale sign is electrical outlet bars, and a lack of fans, particularly in the bathroom, so we had to run the A/C at a low temp (65 F) all nite. The location of the TV was a bit obtuse. It was beside the bed, so in order to view it, we had to move it away from the bed. The morning Breakfast was the highlight of the stay. The meal was good, the guests were great, and the service from the kitchen was wonderful. Overall, its a Grand Old Home, and the location has good merit, That said, they need to spend some $$$ and do the upgrades.

The women that took care of us were amazing. They made an incredible breakfast. The house is so lovely. Our room was large, comfortable, beautiful bathroom and a lovely deck to enjoy. Right on the river, easy to walk and enjoy. Love it. See you again!

Great location. No amenities like shampoo. No daily service of room. Breakfast was ok - same everyday. Costco bagels and croissants. No decaf coffee. But good price so you get what you pay for.

We celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Chestnut Inn. It was quaint, serene, relaxing and peaceful. Very convenient location and easy parking. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was delicious! This was our first time staying at a B&B and absolutely loved it!

Robin made an outstanding breakfast. An egg, sausage links, cherry tomatoes, French toast, fresh fruit, pastry, coffee, tea Robin was very accommodating making dinner suggestions, attending to all needs

Wonderful! a first experience in a bed and breakfast. It was delightful to have breakfast all together and have a chit chat about who is from where and so forth. The hotesses was very friendly. and the decor was like walking back in time. Lovely

We very much enjoyed “breakfast at 9:00 sharp” and the opportunity it gave us to talk to fellow travelers over a delicious meal. Our king room was immaculate, spacious, comfortable and quiet—I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the large balcony. We were also very glad to find that the Wego bus line has a stop at the curb out front (it’s in fact called the “Bed and Breakfast stop”) and follows River Road to the area of the falls and related attractions. And lastly, we appreciated Robin’s flexibility with regard to our late arrival and her responsiveness in general. Thank you.
