Very welcoming on arrival Ideal for our stay but there was a drainage/damp smell in the bathroom

A charming little serviced cottage in a gated alley in Maldon. It was imaginatively laid out and very attractive. Some of the facilities were looking a little tired (e.g. sofa bed) and with a few little niggles (leaky shower, hot water not working in the bathroom) but overall very good.

Excellent accommodation, most enjoyable.

Needed a more user friendly kettle. Staff just showed me to room and that was it nothing else
