A very nice hotel with lots of character and quirky features. It is ideally located next to the gorge walk and has a few tables outside on the pavement to make the most of the views. We had a room at the top of the hotel with a comfy large bed and lovely bathroom. The staff are young and enthusiastic but lack leadership as witnessed in the dining room. They were disorganised and seemed rather lost. The food at dinner was fairly average but perfectly acceptable.

The Hafod Hotel at Devil’s Bridge is a stunning building with lovely rooms and friendly staff. The restaurant has a great variety of dishes and the place has a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be retiring next year !

We stayed Thursday 16th July and checked out Saturday 18th July, from the minute we walked through the door you could tell the place was well looked after it was clean and tidy, once checked in by the young lady at the desk ( who was very informative on the local area and good alternative restaurants in the area) we where greated with an amazing room, not to small not to big! Bathroom was really clean and tidy, the sheets smelt clean ! And the view was to die for ! We ate that evening downstairs and it was delicious, even better was how well priced it was! We walked the devils bridge walk which we didn't realise is open 24 hours a day and is 100% worth the visit! Plenty of options for breakfast all fresh

The front of house staff and waiting staff were great however, the kitchen really let down the stay. Fish and chips - fish soggy not crispy, pooling with oil and the crushed Parmesan potatoes like something you would concrete bricks together with and the local trout was so overcooked it was hard to chew it. The fish and chips were sent back and the second attempt was worse, fish still swimming in oil, the chips re-used from the first attempt and so cold at this point, the tartare sauce had developed a skin where it was re-used and the mushy peas, again re-used from the first meal/attempt and so were hard and dry. Breakfast - the cooked breakfast for gluten free consisted of bacon egg beans half a mushroom half a tomato. The normal breakfast came out without black pudding or lava bread which was listed on the menu. As a boutique hotel please can you consider supplying better coffee than instant Nescafé in the rooms, and in the heat of this summer consider removing the winter feather duvets? And placing more appropriate bedding? And Adding a fan in the room?

Lovely hotel. We ate there on both evenings as there was a comprehensive menu and a good choice of gluten free options. Our only slight negative was the walk to and from the car park with heavy suitcases.

Amazing location, friendly staff, and you get to sleep with the sound of waterfalls! The restaurant and food are great, and there is fast WiFi if you need to get some work done like us.

The staff and hotel are fabulous. They were celebrating the 10th anniversary of being in business yet my room looked like it was newly decorated. Both the dinner she breakfast I had were tasty and well presented. The staff were always helpful and attentive. There was even a secure shed where I could store my bike overnight. The room was well appointed with toiletries and drinks. The bed was really comfy. I'd definitely return and will recommend others go and visit too.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. My partner and I stayed for our birthday (yes we have the same birthday!) and they decorated the room and left us a few freebies. Extremely kind of them!

From arriving to departure the owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We went B&B, plus evening meal, which was well worth it. Big mention to three of the staff Will, Osian “Fish” and Willow who really went out of their way to make sure our 3 night stay was very memorable. Will definitely be trying the sister hotel in Dolgellau in the near future.

The location and venue were excellent. The staff and food were brilliant... BUT, the wifi and TV in our room didn't work and the staff seemed to be unable to help based on technical reasons. Otherwise a great stay!!!
