Hotel Brinkly is a charming little family run hotel. It is a beautiful old building perfectly positioned just opposite the beach and with forest behind. It is in a lovely position and Snekkerten is a very pretty village. There is also a bus stop immediately outside. We had the garden room which was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were without exception helpful and kind. The breakfast was fabulous. It was a contintental buffet breakfast -There was freshly baked bread and the best homemade jam we have ever tasted. The staff were happy to make omlettes and cook eggs and bacon for guests. It was clear how much care, thought and attention went into the catering. There was also an excellent selection tea and coffee in the dining area which guests could use all day long. We loved it.

Loved staying at. Villa Brinkley! Eric and Annette make the place feel like home. Right across from a beach, fine food, friendly, warm atmosphere. Hoping to return there!!!

Beautiful location between woods and water, peaceful and lovely inn, with kind and welcoming hosts; comfortable rooms. Close to art museum Louisiana, and Helsingor, for further exploration, bicycles available, walking trails. Splendid breakfast with many choices, and we enjoyed an excellent dinner prepared by our fine host and chef.

Annette and Eric are very personable and friendly hosts. The hotel is located very close to the bus stop for easy access to/from the Louisiana Museum.

Villa Brinkly is a delightful place to stay in a very scenic, interesting and tasty area of Denmark. The hotel is a family run small operation with many personal touches; some of them, eclectic. Erik, Annette and Cristina were all gracious, friendly and very helpful owners/staff. The breakfasts were very satisfactory. While not hot, it was tasty and nutritious including a range of breads, fruits, yogurt, pastry, cheeses, and a parfait type yogurt treat with fruit, jam and nuts daily. Boiled eggs were also on offer. The couple runs a catering business for large events and Annette's skills and imagination are on show here. Coffee and biscuits are always available as is an open air dining and gathering patio to meet fellow travelers in good weather. The Villa's location is very easy to find and within half and hour or so of Copenhagen. Train travel is very easy to access (walking distance) as are a coupe fine restaurants and pizza shops. The beach is large and easily reached one block away. Our room was in the back and was so peaceful and private. Every morning we awoke to lovely bird song. The forest and a pathway are just though the gate. We would definitely like to return to Villa Brinkly to continue and explore more of Denmark. . Thank you Villa Brinkly for your lovely hospitality.

The room was very small, but the beds vas very very good. There was no Place to stay except for the breakfast room.

From our first day walking along the waterline to the lovely breakfasts and recommendations of other sights and services provided by our hosts, our stay at Hotel Villa Brinkly was wonderful. Snekkersten is a small town that closes up a little early, but it has a good bicycle rental place and train service--north a few stops to Helsingor with its castle, shopping district, and ferry, or south half an hour to Copenhagen. There is also an hourly bus service and easy call access to taxis. But we spent at least a day walking the woods and coast and enjoying the small town ambiance. The room was sweet and clean, and the whole hotel is obviously a project of love by the owners who also run a high-end catering business.

God frokost og artig sted, men dårlig oppfølging fra personale. Vi hadde bare en natt der og plutselig var vi overlatt til oss selv. Vi hadde tenkt å låne sykler, men det var ingen å spørre. Renholdet var ok.

Väldigt trevligt boende. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter och ett extra plus för frukosten.

Otroligt mysigt ställe med en varm och välkomnande ägarinna. Sängarna riktigt sköna och från rummet hade man utgång till en härligt lummig terrass. Ett par minuters promenad från stranden. Kan rekommenderas varmt.

Delikat og smakfull morgenmad.

Vi var positivt overrasket over det smukke hotel med fransk og maritim udsmykning. Delikat morgenbuffet ved intime små borde. Det var muligt at engagere sig med andre gæster eller være sig selv. I suiten den bedste seng. Vi sov vidunderligt. Vældig god plads og flere siddesteder. Den bedste udsigt over Øresund fra bord med kaffe/te og elkedel. Et stort, maritimt bad med messing badekar og udgang til tagterrase. Vi stornød både faciliteter og meget imødekommende betjening. Da vi oftest er på familie trip ville vi have sat pris på et lille køle-fryseskab. Men det er et historisk hus med deraf måske indretningsudfordringer! Til gengæld rigeligt med stik, og de korrekte steder. Vi kan kun beklage at vores ophold på 2 dage var for kort.

Mysigt hotell, rent o fräscht. Frukosten var fantastiskt god särkilt baconen o omeletten. Kan varmt rekommendera åka hit. Ligger vackert längs Strandvejen.

Jeg kan slet ikke anbefale denne lille perle nok! Et meget personligt og hyggeligt sted, hvor man kan se at ejerene og personale gør sig umage og er stolte af deres sted. Hotel og værelset er personligt, lyst og dejligt indrettet. Mit værelse havde en lille havedør og terrasse ud mod skoven. Så jeg vågnede til frisk luft og fuglekvidder hver morgen. Gode senge og rent overalt. Morgenmaden var fantastisk og fremstod lækker og hjemmelavede marmelader, gode oste og meget pænt anrettet. Det er muligt for gæsterne at lave kaffe eller te i udenfor restaurantens åbningstid. Jeg lavede eks. en kop inden sengetid og en kop morgenkaffe jeg nød på terrassen inden bad og morgenmad. På værelset hang der badekåbe, så det var nemt at gå den lille tur (ca. 200 meter) ned til badebroen og tage en dukkert.

Meget hyggeligt sted med en sød og imødekommende engelsktalende værtinde. Flot indrettet værelse og hyggelig morgenmad med en fremragende omelet. Der kunne nu godt have været en lille bar, så man kunne side under halvtaget med en drink om eftermiddagen.

Da vi trådte ind af døren, var det som at træde ind i en tidslomme. Utrolig hyggeligt, venligt og imødekommende personale, hyggeligt værelse, og dejlig morgenmad. Vi giver det lille hotel vores bedste anbefaling, og vil rigtig gerne bo der en anden gang,
