Great value for money. Stayed for 2 nights passing through from Scotland to Cardiff. Only a few minutes walk to the town centre. Has free parking although this is limited to 7 spaces. We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be really tasty. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Great shower pressure. Sun deck and beer garden was great as we had good weather to enjoy them. Took our drinks out there in the evenings. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Generally excellent, I would have given it 5 stars except for the mildew in shower . Ate in the restaurant one evening, would recommend it highly.

Great little find, staff were super helpful. There was parking at the hotel, albeit only a few spaces, room was quiet and clean. I can’t believe it was so cheap for one night and in a great location for Shrewsbury, only a 10 min walk over the bridge. I would say the bed wasn’t super comfortable and the pillows were not to my liking. Due to the hot weather the room wasn’t that well ventilated but a fan was provided which was welcome. I feel these are only minor and my preferences rather than criticism. For the £ per night a great little place. Would stay again.

The restaurant with rooms is in a great location with parking an easy walk into Shrewsbury Town.The rooms are clean and functional with tea and coffee provided. The staff are helpful and extremely polite. We loved the fact that we could sit out on an elevated terrace and have drinks and a meal. we will be back.

The hotel is great value for money. The breakfast and restaurant food first class. All of our party of five staying guests would return again.

Ideal short walk to the town centre, with a handy parking spot. Room was small but clean and had everything you need. Excellent breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. A great weekend stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were basically needing a bed for 1 night while visiting friends in Shrewsbury. The Yak & Yeti was 5 minutes walk away. The room was spotless & had everything we needed. The bathroom could do with updating but it wasn't a problem. Staff were friendly & explained everything we needed to know.

Great stay, parking available and close to the town centre, loved sitting on the sun deck and enjoying a drink before an amazing meal at the restaurant.

For the price point you can’t go wrong . Parking is hit and miss ( random weekday was no problem ) but need to arrive close to check in or super late for a parking space on site. Lots of parking options nearby though ( Frankwell ) . Easy to check in at bar and the rooms are clean and well stocked ( tea tray / water / soap and towels ) Really homely feel and super friendly. If you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs as you can hear the kitchen staff ( busy restaurant downstairs ) late into the night and early morning : along with other residents getting in and out of their rooms . Been here a few times and would come back. Lots of character and close to town.

The room was cute and nice. It was clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant had excellent food and great service.

Handy car park. Lovely staff. Great food . Room comfy, thankful of fan. Room had usual tea, coffee plus water and biscuits. I’d go here again as very handy for the Sabrina boat trip and walk into town.

Our room was clean and comfy The staff could not do enough for you they were all very friendly and happy, we ate at the yak and yeti three nights in a row as the food was absolutely delicious the flavours were out of this world there was alot of choice on the menu too, they had a really nice sun terrace to enjoy a drink, food or just to chill, they had a car park for the duration of your stay Breakfast was a full english which i can honestly say kept you full until your evening meal , we did not get a chance to say goodbye to the staff but wanted to say thank you to each and everyone of them for making our stay just perfect

Just back from a 3 night stay. Everything was 5* staff food beer garden and sun terrace perfect for a few beers in the sun. Room was big and spacious.Will definitely stay here again it was in walking distance to every thing.And the staff are amazing

Me and my Friends just got back from here . The place was lovely and the Rooms really nice . Glad we had a fan in our room because otherwise it would be unbearable to stay in . The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Always asked if we wanted anything like drinks etc . Went above and beyond. The food was excellent and delicious. Got plenty of it . 💯 perfect

Best bed I have ever had in a hotel. Plenty of tea, coffee etc in the room. High quality bed linen and towels and a fabulous Asian fusion restaurant
