Great place for exploring the Lakes. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Lovely tea tray with biscuits in the kitchen, most appreciated. With that in mind, it would have been good to have had some bodywash in the shower, not sure people would expect to have to bring this. Finally, we sent three messages to the owner via the Hotels.com app but not one of them was answered. That's why we have given such a low rating for communication.

Absolute Gem of a place, super clean, cosy and lovely little village Cark is, this was a great hub for me and my boy to do Scaffel whilst my wife and daughter took a train into Ulverston for the day "train station 2 min walk away". Definitely one the best kept places we have stopped in. Neighbours really friendly also :)
